composers often have signatures and styles that make their stuff recognizable. williams scores sound like his other scores. zimmer sounds like zimmer, elfman sounds like elfman, etc..
especially in the same universe, timing/key/major/minor/etc, so any williams score from any movie will sound similar to another SW movie he did

It's simple. John Williams wrote Rey's theme music to have elements of multiple OT characters because nobody had any idea who she was going to be related to, so he just put in a little of everything.
