They needed to show the dichotomy between the protagonist and the antagonist. Miles is a homosexual little twink boy with not a single hint of masculinity. Thus Miguel, his antagonist, is a jacked, confident, heroic, tall masculine dude. It's basic storytelling anon.
i get why he couldnt let miles go back but why did he chase him all over nueva? he can only go back using a watch or the go home machine and mig has control over that from his tower so why did he have everyone chase him?
>majority of them have spidersense >Spiderman can never be surprised ever
Also all spiders are really smart so being able to reverse engineer a watch isn't out of the realm of possibility (like Hobbie did), also he might be helped by any of the sympathetic cast (Gwen/Peter/etc) like he was in the movie.
miguel can shut the watches off remotely like he did with gwens after he sent her home
Yeah but he goes running off in the building with all the multiversal stuff in it. If Miguel lets himself lose track of him, its possible he comes up with a way to escape while their guards are lowered. Its safer to just detain him than to just hope he can't figure a way back home.
No, he got good and started the zyzz lifestyle
We're all gonna spider-make it.
>hitting the gym is a canon event, spider-dyel
No, but he is a racist

Left is Miguel. Right is an Inheritor pretending to be Miguel. Or the one from the universe that collapsed.
