she was the most boring human being/npc in the history of television so yes, anyone with half a brain would've just ran the mafia-wife approach even if they didnt love walt anymore
>anyone with half a brain would've just ran the mafia-wife approach even if they didnt love walt anymore
This is LITERALLY what she does in the show though. Do you even watch TV? Have you ever had an opinion that wasn’t drip fed to you via anonymous image boards?
Not initially, but then when she said it's sexist that she got hate and took the feminist angle, she deserved every bit of it an more. Glad she's too jaded to show her face at any of the cast reunions or special events. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
How was she well written?
It’s clear why Walt acted the way he did. After years of being ground under the heel of mediocrity he decided to become really good at something, while being blind to his own shortcomings.
What’s Skyler’s motivation? To protect her family? Then why frick Ted? Why come back? Why walk into the swimming pool at the BBQ, drawing attention to an abnormal situation by acting like a weirdo? Why put herself at risk over Ted or the car wash?
Her big problem as a character is that she didn’t actually have a clear, central motivation, because she wasn’t written as a character, she was written as a plot driver. That’s not good writing.
She was not in any way well written. Carmella was well written.
Skyler wasnt a real character. She was a plot device. Her motivations with walt were so incredibly mercurial that they didnt make sense episode to episode.
>Walt cook meth >noooo walt its bad >we need money cook meth >jk i gave it to ted lol
None of walts family were well written. They were equal to the baby, which was more of a prop than the cripple or the b***h.
You wanna see an organic well written conflict between husband and wife? Watch Sopranos.
>None of walts family were well written.
Are you saying that the degenerate, broken, and battered excuses for human beings that are hollywood writers don't have any actual experience with family life?
Badly written character with inconsistent motivations, doing whatever was required to help the plot lurch forward. Absolutely the worst character on the show bar none.
wom*n aren't human. they have been parasites on society for the past 300 years. eastern and western. at best equal-ish contributors in hunter-gatherer tribes like the hadza
I didn't feel strongly about her but I can't fricking stand how this show used the whole fact that she didn't know he was a meth dealer to create such arbitrary tension that adds nothing to anything.
A man in Walter's position, having a deadly disease that, at best will cause him years or torment, and at worst will cause him to die slowly, needs a strong support structure. It's been proven that having people who love you gathering around is good for the healing process. Instead of rallying around him to fight his illness, his wife doubled down on the shrew routine.
In universe, not really until she Broke Bad. Out of universe, yeah, she was the dullest part of the show. Fans didn't hate her cuz she was evil or awful, they hated her because she was a boring suburban mom in a show about a suburban dad becoming a meth kingpin.
I hate all women equally no matter what they do and this includes my wife and daughter. So yes, she does. I also hate everyone else on this planet including every single one of you.
She really didn't. Annoying in the first season but perfectly believable after that and came up with some genius plans like improvising the gambling story, and pretending to be a dumb bimbo to get Ted off the hook with the IRS.
>I PEGGED TED
I clapped
if she woulda started his blue smoking meth he prolly wlda stopped cooking tbh

Biggest hypocrite in TV history, of course she deserved the hate. I'd hate her again for free.
she might have been more insufferable at times
She’s the hot one, so it’s ok
She was loyal to Hank even years after his death.
She's a good character. I hate the c**t as a person but she's very well written.
This. If you got filtered by Skyler I'm afraid you're simply not smart enough to watch what is essentially a saturday morning cartoon for adults.

Yes. She smoked while she was pregnant with Walter Jr and that's why he's moronic. She's a horrible mother.
She deserved more. She gave him cancer
You just know.
>you're selling pot to my husband?
>this Karen ain't havin it!
Kimchads win again.

She did because she made may jerk off way too many times ... what a hot fricking milf bawd
She was more of a plot device than an actual character, just like Walter Jr.

The real question is why Walt changed from a downtrodden guy to someone who stood up. I guess 'cause its a good idea for a tv show
her sister is worse
At least Marie has a personality, even if she is meant to be a little annoying. You know people like her.
Post it
Gilligan originally wanted her to commit suicide but the writers talked him out of it, it would have been such a catharsis to see her die.
