>schizos only complain about this one
There an entire Zutara fanbase complaining she got with Aang. You're just butthurt someone doesn't like your yurigay fetish.
the writers should have just dropped all romance from the show after book 1 and 2 bungled it so damn hard both times with the shitty Mako love triangle.
Deciding to fix it by shoving the far ends of the love triangle together instead at the very end is just stupid.
I don't need some pseud telling me what I saw with my own eyes. It was non-existent until a last minute ass pull, and even if it wasn't, both b***hes are so unlikable that only coombrains clap for it.
>keeps giving me (you)s
I must have really struck a nerve insulting your moronic "analysis" vid. Should have gotten a real job if you wanted your parents' respect.
No. I'm not homophobic. I just thought the "relationship" came outta no where and didn't make sense. Though it did let me make jokes about Mako turning women bi, which I think is pretty funny.
I followed their relationship and looking back that relationship was doomed to fail, Korra started most of the drama and Mako couldn't keep up with her bullshit.
Worse part many of the fans still hate this character for that.
It was an awful build up and no one can convince me otherwise. The kind of ship homosexualry that only exists in the bubble space of fanfiction. Literally, brain rot for eternally online queers.
Holy shit, stop trying to defend this soap box trash in defense to a shitty series of wasted potential.
>Did these two really turn most - if not all - of Cinemaphile homophobic?
No. 90% of the political threads on this board (possibly including yours) is really /misc/tards with zero interest in comics or cartoons trying to recruit anons into the culture war.
It's not JUST those two, it's that korrasami highlights why dyke pairings are stupid and obnoxious. They're there just to make a certain obnoxious segment of the population cheer. They provide almost no entertainment value like most other dyke pairings. Really, their only entertainment value is in porn and shitty fanfics, which is where the pairing should have stayed.
Additionally, korrasami may not have really ruined a particularly amazingly written story, but it was a sign that the people in the industry were willing to cater to shitty, annoying fandoms, and that's not something they should ever do.
And compare all that to gay men in cartoons, who are at least funny or entertaining in their roles, or add something to the story. Dykes, just like regular women, suck the fun out of everything, and are there to champion a political cause more than anything else. They are antithetical to fun and good times; that's REALLY why dykes are so hated, and gay guys don't catch as much heat. When you see a dyke in something, you know what kind of people are behind the scenes making the show, and now you know it won't be fun and will be a stupid jumbled mess focused mostly on messages and self-righteous sociopolitical bullshit no one really wants.
When I watch TV, i'm not there to fap, since that's what you're disingenuously insinuating. I want to laugh and enjoy myself, not be beholden to some queer's ideology (especially since that queer's ideology would do better under the funny gay guy premise rather than the shit they put forth). I can jack off to my waifu porn later.
As a concept it's not a bad one, I'm just annoyed that Bryke used it to deflect any criticism about the show, especially the end of it. Suddenly the entirety of LOK was the Korrasami Love Story, but anyone lacking bias can see how badly they struggled to make the Krew and especially Asami interesting. Even when she was supposed to be the Love Interest, she barely does ANYTHING meaningful as a character. If Korrasami hadn't been made canon and the show ended slightly differently, book 4 would be remembered as mediocre, which it actually is even with the "romance". Even for 2014, Korrasami was weak representation.
Nine years later I can say it's cute, they're okay in the comics, but Asami is still about as interesting as watching wet cardboard. And with it being ten years next year I'm going to have to watch a bunch of articles about sucking Bryke dick pop up. Kind of hope some popular LGBT person just comes out and says it was mid.
>How?
It didn't. >Why?
Because Season 4 was so fricking garbage it only made it on to online and LoK got scrapped for TV broadcasting. It was a season that ended with an early 2000'a CGI robot attacking Republic City, so to distract viewers they had Korra frick the remaining member of her group she hadn't claimed yet. It was the writers jingling their keys in front of the audience to get their attention. And it was so confusing at the time Bryke had to go on Tumblr and say "Yes they were tonguing each other at the end" and make a comic to reiterate this for anyone still confused. Because that's how badly it was written.
All I'm saying is, all discourse became more charged in that year. It went from "eh, it fell kind of flat" to "INDOCTRINATION GROOMER AGENDA PROPAGANDA".
Because after gamergate and 2016 election madness woke people up to what's happening they could no longer be subtle about their agenda and ramped up the progressive shit in media. It was very interesting to watch in real time
No, I'm just sick of lesbian fetishists acting like three seconds of these two holding hands somehow elevates a rather mediocre action show to an important landmark in television history. It doesn't, and I'm tired of people claiming so and crying homophobia when told otherwise.
Its just a handful of dedicated shitposters who hate dykegays, probably because they're blackedgays (several have been exposed as such).
>Blacked outta nowhere
The story having romance just seemed force for the sake of having progressive messages.
If korrasami never happened nothing would change.
That's every Avatar pairing, they're all shit, but schizos only complain about this one
>schizos only complain about this one

you and your ilk place way too much importance on a single ship in a single show
Being the homosexual you are, you already know.
It wasn't earned and just slapped on the end for shock value to make Korra seem more progressive and big brained than it was.
Most people remember nothing that happened during Korea, but everyone remembers this Korrasami at the end.
Bryke made it canon at the last moment for attention
What a cowardly approach. The last shot of the show is ambiguous enough that you could just say
>oh it was a friendship moment
the writers should have just dropped all romance from the show after book 1 and 2 bungled it so damn hard both times with the shitty Mako love triangle.

No, it just gave the buttholes something to b***h about CONSTANTLY.
Gay is cringe and there have always been people with individual opinions here instead of participants in the LGBTQ hive.
It's not like there are any good gay things, people can only babble mental illness as praise.
Shut up groomer, this ain't your private discord
>guy
Piss off, schizo.
Sorry bud I came back to this thread so your inept dick isn't going to twitch from saying this in a thread I never go back to
Good (and short) youtube viddy about Korrasami not being an ass pull.
>744 subs
Bitch, this is your own video isn’t it? Frick off
Nope. Eat a bag of dicks.
I don't need some pseud telling me what I saw with my own eyes. It was non-existent until a last minute ass pull, and even if it wasn't, both b***hes are so unlikable that only coombrains clap for it.
>I don't need some pseud telling me what I saw with my own eyes.
I don't know how clearly were you seeing with you head up your ass and all.
Weak bait. Apply yourself.
Be worth the effort.
>keeps giving me (you)s
I must have really struck a nerve insulting your moronic "analysis" vid. Should have gotten a real job if you wanted your parents' respect.
No good, try again.
I already hated homos.
you're not decreasing my hatred of women
No. I'm not homophobic. I just thought the "relationship" came outta no where and didn't make sense. Though it did let me make jokes about Mako turning women bi, which I think is pretty funny.
Korrasami was the least bad option left at the end of the show.
It's bad, but it's better than every other option they were reasonably going to do. would be better if Asami had, yknow, a character
Characters don't need to be paired. If you can't do the romance justice, then leave them as friends and leave bad romance to fanfics.
Mako and Korra could come back together after both went through in-theory character development
I followed their relationship and looking back that relationship was doomed to fail, Korra started most of the drama and Mako couldn't keep up with her bullshit.
Worse part many of the fans still hate this character for that.

what fricking buildup
i watched korra specifically for the gay shit and nothing happened

Better recruitment strategy than the US military right now, tbh.

So you'd rather watch two gay guys and a couple of girls together.

Kinda hard to tell who's b***h in the relationship and who's the butch.
Korra is a natural bottom.
They're BOTH natural bottoms. Asami's such a nothing wet blanket she'd bottom to a bottom.
People project their desire to top Korra so hard onto Asami but that girl screams pillow princess
especially since the comics ended up making Asami a captured damsel for Korra to save

Too close to 2016.
The presidential race had nothing to do with it. The candidates hadn't even announced they were running yet.
All I'm saying is, all discourse became more charged in that year. It went from "eh, it fell kind of flat" to "INDOCTRINATION GROOMER AGENDA PROPAGANDA".
Because gays are in everything now. Korra was just a few years ahead of the trend.
Because after gamergate and 2016 election madness woke people up to what's happening they could no longer be subtle about their agenda and ramped up the progressive shit in media. It was very interesting to watch in real time
>woke
Rightoids can't have that.
Famed christian homphobe Donald Trump
Imagine being Mako
Utter state of a man
Korra's entire love life was moronic
No, I'm just sick of lesbian fetishists acting like three seconds of these two holding hands somehow elevates a rather mediocre action show to an important landmark in television history. It doesn't, and I'm tired of people claiming so and crying homophobia when told otherwise.
thank you
