pure speculation here: seems like saiyans are born extremely violent and feral, which isn't to say they're emotional: just destructive.

for the most part, babies need some sort of emotional spectrum to survive. they die without being held. they're also too weak to survive on their own.

How strong someone is in dragonball has always been pretty much a lottery. Look at Broly and Frieza for example, both of whom were way stronger than their parents for no discernable reason.

Pure blooded saiyan hair canonically does not grow after birth. But the hair of human hybrids grows throughout their life like a normal human.
Full Saiyan's don't live anything but conquest and fighting, so they never feel the extreme levels of loss that leads to the rage that pushes Gohan since he was a kid.

unironically power of love, basically sayians were not very sensitive, which is why it was easier for goku to obtain the form before vegeta and how easy it got for half sayians and why it's so easy for sayians in super from another universe.
I don't think they are necessarily. DBZ seems to operate by stronger parent at conception = stronger child at birth. Also the "Frieza army" way of powering up where they can't sense power levels or hide their own seems like it makes fast gains but plateaus quickly whereas the training Goku and friends learn on Earth has much much higher potential.

Goku wasn't really naturally gifted, only if you're comparing him to humans maybe. He just trained a lot in all kinds of ways with all kinds of people.
