Often enough they do, but things can obviously happen when you have only one artist and/or writer and take at least a year to make an album.
They released volume 4 after a long-ass delay, but it really only was a new chapter, not an ending. There hasn't been anything since; but the artist has worked on several volumes of Ekho (which is more episodic, lighthearted, but very raunchy being written by Arleston) and The Gremillet Sisters (which is a more straightforward adventure in "real life" settings for children, the writing is completely different, but it is very heartwarming and comfy).
Yeah, Barbucci does god tier artwork.
I dropped Ekho because the story was getting kinda shit, but the art is great.
and yet, publishers don't print translation of their shit so we can read it. i'd love to read vampire requiem chevalier but the only book with art by olivier ledroit i've seen is wika

Sfar and Trondheim can pump out 2 50-page Donjon books a year for 20 years. Their secret is that Trondheim only did the illustrations for the first few and they get other artist for the rest.
It's a Eurocomic, so I'm going to say no.
And yet their artists can produce better quality stories and art than the usual stock of current artists for most of the industry in North America.
too bad they never see them through.
And when it takes them years between volumes I better damn well hope they're good.

>the story was getting kinda shit, but the art is great.
The tragic tale of most Euro comics.
As opposed to other comics where both the story AND art are shit?
The art is the hardest part to get right. Since the art is good, the writing is expected to be good as well.
>I dropped Ekho because the story was getting kinda shit,
Yeah it's typical Arleston, he thinks fart jokes are the highest form of art.
Try Gremillet Sisters. It is SO much better written.
This comic is the reason I fricking hate eurotrash. That entire continent can frick off and drown until Sky Doll finishes.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

north america's loss
I was JUST thinking about her breasts earlier today for the first time in like, 15 years
what are the odds?
>her breasts
This comic really catered to all tastes

Are they floppies only, or is there a TPB?
There's a collected edition of the first three volumes.
And there's a SUPERIOR edition.
Why isn't the English edition of volume 4 STILL not ripped?
It was ripped three years ago, my moronic friend who doesn't know how search engines work.
God damn I need more of this girl.
There's like twelve books filled with her.
I found this comic in a college library a few years ago. It's part of why I'm so into european comics and non-Big Two sci fi stuff.
I found it through a story time years ago. Some anons really know how to pick them.
apparently according to the artists twitter, volume 5 of Sky Doll is still in progress and will be the finale.
but given how big the hiatus was between book 3 and 4, I'll be surprised if it finishes this decade.

looks neat thanks
