    There's a place I know in Ontario

      ontario mentioned!!!

Remember in the 80s/90s when Ontario had its own frickin theme song? "a place to live, a place to grow, Ontary-ary-ary-o?" Probably got rid of it when the economy went to shit and people started moving out west.

        Anonymous

I grew up in Florida but had lots of relatives spread throughout the area from Windsor to GTA and loved to visit because of the high amount of optimism Ontario and Canada in general had in the 70s and 80s. Even with some of the urban decay that impacted most western cities of the time, everything from rural farms around Chatham to urban Toronto felt like it was on a good path.
Think the song you mentioned was made for Ontario Place, which itself was very nice during those decades but apparently now has mostly fallen apart and been abandoned.

I still have a button from this campaign somewhere. Think I got it on a class trip or something. Or maybe that time my parents dragged me to an Expos game.

I think it's either hicksville or levittown that is notorious for how many indians live there. it's unreal. im a couple towns over. They arent infesting the town, but they certainly are on the eastern part of it

For now, it seems kind of one off. The 10 pajeets were the only ones on the block (around Doug MacArthur high school). I'm in Suffolk so it's rare for me. One of the funniest things is if you ever go to Port Jefferson, the biggest restaurant in town that overlooks the water got bought out by some Indian to become "the curry club" and it could NOT have been a cheap purchase. If you ever pass by, literally every night it's nearly dead empty and that place used to be fricking wild with parties and live music.

People think of Ontario as being southern Canada because most of the population lives in southern part of both the province and the country. There is no other part of Canada that could be more southern than the highly populated part of Ontario.

I'm a leaf, not from Ontario. I had family in Niagara Falls growing up so it was a regular destination for summer vacation, we'd drive down, go see my grandparents. I can confirm it was comfy, as a kid Clifton Hill is fun, it's a street filled with wax museums and cool stuff like OP's pic, leading to the falls. The best part were the arcades, I have fond memories of playing Crazy Taxi there. I haven't been back there since, I'm sure as an adult I'd find it too touristy. Plus yeah, all the fricking Indians now I'm sure have made it way worse.

100%. Outside the relatively small downtown core of tourist gimmicks (that are overpriced and filled with the dumbest npc morons you can fathom) the rest of the town is poor as shit and a rundown grease pile. Niagara Falls is like the dollar store version of Las Vegas. Also once you just look at the Falls once you get the full experience. They are giant waterfalls. Oooo.

The level to which Toronto and Ontario have been absolutely fricking RAMMED FULL of Indians in the last five years is honestly hard for people outside of here to comprehend. I don't think there's anywhere in the entire world that has experienced the degree of Indian immigration that we have in the last five years. Like it's absolutely out of fricking control.

If this country had ANY balls left there would be so much pushback. If this many Indians suddenly moved to America and immediately destroyed the real estate and labour markets there would be armed insurrections.

I hate living here now, and it's entirely due to the fact that this moron government has decided to prop the entire economy up on the idea of massively expanding the lower class with Indians.

Last time I stopped by Niagara Falls it must've been a muslim or hindu festival because the entire area next to the falls, like 20 meters or so, was packed full of people. People had picnic mats spread out and stuff. This was before covid.
Nowadays if you go to Niagara Falls you're just begging to catch covid.
I hate crowds so I probably won't go any time soon.

Honestly though, I don't mind immigrants. Without immigrants and tourists pumping money into these places they would have fallen into disrepair and disappeared already, like some of the older towns in more secluded towns in ontario.
The reason why Canada and every country on earth takes immigrants in is because they bring in a shit ton of money that the country can then use to build new stuff. Without immigrants funding condo downpayments, businesses etc, Canada today would still be using really old infrastructure (old highways, etc) and everything would still look like instead of

        https://i.imgur.com/JZ1xNxg.jpg

Did you know that Idiocracy actually exists, and it's called Niagara Falls, Ontario?

        .
Canada needed an even more aggressive immigration policy than most countries due to its proximity to the US, which constantly poaches Canada's human capital.

          >immigrants bring in money
Is this bait or are you just fricking moronic? Wealthy immigrants bring in money, poor masses of people bring in nothing but their shitty ass families. Why the elites like them, however, is because they keep working class wages down and housing prices up. It's a way for the well off to get cheap goods and services off the backs of the poor.

            Anonymous

You need both and these calculations have already been done by someone in the government. If you only bring on wealthy immigrants, you have no one to work to provide the services that cater to the wealthy. I don't know the ratio but it would probably be somewhere to like 1 rich for every 10 poor or something.
This isn't the ideal solution, I'm not saying it was. What would have been ideal is if Canada had nationalized their lumber and oil industries (like Norway), cut off ties with the US (that are robbing them blind in terms of human capital and natural resources), and stopped any attempts of privatization across all industries. But yea the politicians were greedy and were bribed, the people were mobilized to blame the immigrants instead of the government (conservative and liberal).
Then Canada would have flourished as a roch country albeit more slowly, retaining their ethnic demographic without the need for immigrants. Honestly the US amd Canada's refusal to reduce dependency on the US is the source of Canada's ills.

what a moronic post. weve been letting in millions of people for years now and everything worse by literally every measure. also our infrastructure is FRICKED and nobodies even pretending to start the process of fixing it

            youre indian arent you?

Things naturally get worse over time at a baseline. Everything would have been a lot worse without an immigrant injection given Canada's governance.
            >also our infrastructure is FRICKED
Not at all. If you look around there's so much new shit being built. Too much shit actually. Highways, privatized toll roads, billionth condos, shiny new community centers everywhere, parks developed and getting new offices, etc. None of this stuff would be bothered with if there weren't people to cater to.
Again, I'm not agreeing with the rapid development and change of demographics, I'm just saying a lot of the progress you take for granted nowadays would not have been possible without the influx of immigrants and their investments.

How am I "brainwashed" when I'm literally just describing what happened, and even stated twice I disagree with what happened and is happening.
The brainwashed one is you for thinking that immigrants are the root of the problem. They are just a symptom. The people working against your interests love it when you willingly step into that trap pf blaming immigration though because it lets them reduce and condense your argument into one of social politics, instead of economics. The rich wealthy elite of Canada the ones benefitting from privatizing Canadian industries, selling out to multinational oil companies instead of Canada investong in refining oil themselves or processing our own lumber instead of having it sent to US for refining/processing then resold back to us at a premium. The rich wealthy elite are also responsible for the large influx of immigration, because they need people to maintain their mansions, sprawling gardens, pick their strawberries or work on the conveyor belt factories for for 16 dollars an hour, etc.

Mass migration = increase in labor supply = reduction in labor cost. The only good migrant is one that brings along his education (in a field thats needed like doctors) and is capable of the language(s) or capable of learning the languages of the host country.

Also "progress" depends on the eye of the beholder. Boomers may love their houses getting more valuable as population density increases, but for a young couple starting out the housing market is basically unaffordable.

The only good thing canada has done is buying american infrastructure and having the burgers pay into canadian pension funds everytime they ride along the Chicago Skyway.

Nothing you said contradicts what I said, and you just reiterated two or so points I already made.
                >Mass migration = increase in labor supply = reduction in labor cost.
This is a bad thing from the perspective of your average middle class citizen, but the reason it's done is because it's not meant to benefit your average citizen, it's meant to benefit the rich elite who own cast tracts of farming or factories. Reduction of labour (we spell it with a u you russian/american shill) cost ks benefitting exactly the class of people that these policies were meant to benefit.

No it was formed by multiple British colonies that decided to unify as a nation when groups from the US during and after the civil war tried to invade and take their land. The People have pretty much been completely brainwashed by the incredibly biased state funded media to the point they do not understand what the 3rd world even is and believe everyones sob story. they don't understand that there are only 10 million of them vs. billions of 3rdies that are on a war path to take their stuff and if you try and them this they will not believe you in the slightest. they have such a high normalcy biased that only recently have they started to notice that something may be wrong now that healthcare is completely gone, social cohesion is in the trash, food prices are higher than most can afford, homelessness is the highest its been, drug abuse is so high, crime is at an all time high, gas and car ownership is a luxery, auto thefts are so high right now people are starting to finally notice. our Justice Minister just had his car stolen for the 3rd time last week.

if every single boomer didn't vote in the last election, through millennials and gen z alone we would have a conservative majority but all these white boomers who make up the liberal voting base grew up and only knew the safety of a high trust society just can't understand that the world is not the same place where the kind and friendly win, but the most brutal and advantages.

Canada isn't a country, it's more like frontier with scattered states that are controlled by a centralized government that still uses colonial law. It's literally a western "democratic" dictatorship. But then you have coalitions of french speakers who subvert any attempts at enriching the rest of the provinces. They frickup the system so that they get preferential treatment.

Also we've been fricked around by both the states and a corrupt government. We should be producing more oil and more natural resources than Saudi Arabia but for some reason we just hand over 99% of our raw oil to the Americans for a sweet discount so THEY can refine it, and we buy it back FROM THEM.

We're basically exploited by 4 different people on all sides. There's nothing to do. The best case scenario is if the provinces legitimately split apart and govern themselves. I'd support a full separatist movement from Quebec, Alberta and anybody else. They'd do so much better on their own without being fricked over.

i went to niagara falls once, when i was like 11 in 2003 and even then it was mostly asians and brown people because most people who are there are tourists from other countries. its neat to see once. the hotel we stayed in was probably the worst hotel i have ever slept in. it was a literal crackden and didn't even have a working shower iirc.

I went to Niagara once. I was working the go-kart track down on Polson Pier and one time on my day off my boss called up asking me to come fill in, so I was like "Sorry Bob, I would but I'm actually in Niagara for the day, I can't make it back, sorry". I was in my apartment on uhhh frick somewhere near Queen & Spadina, I just didn't want to work. But then I was like "Frick it, I haven't got anything else to do today, may as well go to Niagara". So I called up my buddies and we went, it was fine. I still have the poncho somewhere.

Honestly speaking, if you're white you're in luck. Most brown chicks would rather date a broke and out of shape white guy than a fit and rich brown guy.

It's still not worth the total degradation of every aspect of society though.

yeah i don't know where the whole wmaf meme comes from cause i see FAR more brown girls with white guys than asian girls with them. most of the asian girls i see are with asian men.

Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg are probably one of the worst places on earth ive ever been too.
I dont think ive ever felt as misanthropic as I have walking through these places.

Fat ugly people, moronic wiggers, dumbass "conservative" truck guys, race mixing coal burners, and its all in this hideous tacky tourist trap that is an affront to beauty. Makes me feel like im in Idiocracy.

This might be outside the scope of the thread but I am always super endeared by how every touristy town that's supported by a heavily-forested natural recereation area pretends to have a history with Bigfoot. It makes sense in Northern Cali. and the PNW, but it's hilarious seeing Bigfoot statues in cheap sporting goods stores in the Ozarks and Great Lakes regions

The south has had wood booger/skunk ape lore going back aways. Most of the tourist stuff sprang up in the 70's when it got popular and stuff like The Legend Of Boggy Creek put places on the map. Great lakes' sighting flaps date to about the same period but they were later to the game I think. Whitehall NY near lake Champlain got into it fairly recently.

Luckily it's really easy to bleach pajeets, in two generations you can make their bloodline completely white. Unfortunately a frickton of pajeet woman who although grew up and live in countries like Canada get married off still to do some gay in India through arranged marriage.

White guys need to start breeding these pajeet women and make them fall in love

The Japanese almost never emigrate. It's super rare to see Japanese immigrants in places like Canada, almost all asians you see are Chinese, Vietnamese, or some other southeast asian background. Why the frick would a Japanese person move to fricking Canada? They'd have to be moronic.
