It was okay. Not offensively bad, but not something I would ever consider rewatching. It is seriously hurt by being a kids movie while having massive focus on weapon-based martial arts, which means nobody ever manages to even slightly cut someone else, because that would mean showing blood which might bump up the rating. This in turn greatly deflates all the fight scenes. The evil beings being things that you can't really fight with physical weapons is also incredibly odd choice given how action-focused the movie is. Theres also the problem where it very obviously lacks the courage to actually kill off characters, and sets up an obvious way to magically bring Raya's dad back at the end of the movie, which completely saps the "death" scene of it's emotional weight, and also makes the dragons fake-out death at the end completely toothless. If you were unwilling to kill the dad of the protag at the start, you sure as hell aren't willing to kill of the sidekick at the end of the movie.
Yes, it's decent. It felt too much like an Avatar the Last Airbender rip-off, the human dragon was too jarring and modernized, and the ending was super weird (randomly trust traitors for no reason after no redemption?) to truly enjoy.

I watched this and the dragon has a personality and voice that is nearly 1 to 1 with a cousin of mine. Kind of ruined the movie for me for some reason idk why.
