You're idolize good a pathetic middle class white guy who couldn't cope with working a 9-5 and decided to have his suicide make thousands of people's lives inconvenient instead of going to die in the woods.
Calling him "Sky King" is like calling Mccandless the King of the Magic Bus
sky king knew what he was doing, though. He just didn't know how to land and was going to kill himself. There's a full video that just got released where he was doing all this difficult shit like pivoting the plane in front of people without raising suspicion and managing to not get blown to shit by the armed aircrafts that were ready to bomb him out of the sky.
Mccandles was a moron that had absolutely no idea what he was doing every step of the way. You're moronic if you think they're the same, and your dishonest way of making it about middle class white dudes makes it seem like you think you're smarter than you actually are.
Hey anon, just an fyi no matter how much you post against white people on Cinemaphile, I (a black immigrant to america) am still going to cave your skull in in a few years.
I didn't know that's who the pic was referring to. I meant the wildlife photographer who miscommunicated his extraction from the northern territory wilderness and ended up shooting himself when he ran out of supplies. Once he saw a plane and tried to get it's attention but accidentally made the international sign of "everything ok" when doing so. He wrote it all down, it was found when the pilot who was supposed to pick him up finally showed up months later.
>Once he saw a plane and tried to get it's attention but accidentally made the international sign of "everything ok" when doing so.
Kek what sign would that be
>McCunn later wrote in his diary: "I recall raising my right hand, shoulder high and shaking my fist on the plane's second pass. It was a little cheer – like when your team scored a touchdown or something. Turns out that's the signal for 'ALL O.K. – DO NOT WAIT!' It's certainly my fault I'm here now! ... Man, I can't believe it. ... I really feel like a klutz! Now I know why nobody's shown up from that incident

The pilot did not sense McCunn was in distress, since he waved his orange sleeping bag very casually and, on his third pass of the campsite, he saw McCunn casually walking back to his tent. The State Trooper later testified he saw no reason to surmise McCunn needed any assistance.
I just realized he was probably being ironic and there is no such international sign. I'm not 100% sure though and don't care enough to investigate further

His family background anon, that's generally what people refer to when they say things like that. Of course he personally was a bum but only because he chose to
I can't believe people went to find the bus and fricking drowned like he would have if he tried to cross the river. Even he was smart enough not to try to cross it when the tide was high.
Its been awhile since I saw it but did this guy actually have a plan? I know the river cuts him off from returning home but was that really his plan? Run back to society if its all too much? Plus, he totally could have crossed that river anyways. Idk why he just chose to die instead
>Idk why he just chose to die instead
Believe it or not, there are many people loving today that would prefer to not be. Most of societies ills can come down to this explanation.
i like how everyone glosses over the fact mccandless believed, inside everyone, were the latent solo survival superpowers that enabled humanity to survive before civilization. and all one needs to do to awaken them is get a certain distance away from civilization. because how else could humanity have survived before civilization if this wasn't the case??
At least he went the be moronic and does route instead of becoming another Ted K. He was well on his way towards that line of thinking but Ted was actually a good outdoorsman for a college professor.
I'll all for breaking away from the system, and I'm all for killing yourself, but don't pretend like he died "free"
He died because he was unprepared and unintelligent in that situation
Nascar pasta, NOW!
he didnt die like a moron
he died because he was a moron
you live by the moron you die by the moron
amen homie
explain tard wranglers then
He died as he lived.
>lives and dies like a nobody
>t.op and everyone else who shits on mcchadless
Burgers find dead morons very inspirational.
Sky King went up there intending to die, he never planned to make it back down. The moron OP posted thought he'd live life in tune with nature or some such shit.
How many movies are they gonna make when you die homosexual?
t. butthurt
>Breaks off the shackles of modern society
>Blazes his own trail when everyone was trying to tell him what to do to "survive"
>Dies free and happier than any human ever
This is the most pathetic thing I've ever read on this website.
What about this?
The post at the bottom left that just says >butthurt with the Bulma reaction pic is me. I tell myself that even if I never achieve anything in life, at least I live on through this legendary thread
You must be the most pathetic person on this website.
*dies like a pussy moron*
This dude was much more fascinating and died in a much more grim way
He also wasn't a stupid white middle-class hippy bum who just went to the wild to frick around
You're idolize good a pathetic middle class white guy who couldn't cope with working a 9-5 and decided to have his suicide make thousands of people's lives inconvenient instead of going to die in the woods.
Calling him "Sky King" is like calling Mccandless the King of the Magic Bus
this is a place full of gay neets who pretended to read walden
sky king knew what he was doing, though. He just didn't know how to land and was going to kill himself. Both are cowardly white men. One gets literally worshipped by incels because it's the youtube age and he had a racist dogwhistle.
Hey anon, just an fyi no matter how much you post against white people on Cinemaphile, I (a black immigrant to america) am still going to cave your skull in in a few years.
One stole an airplane, that's pretty impressive. One walked into the woods to die, which while based, is not very impressive.

>middle class
HAHAHAHAHA stupid yuppie. His life was barely above prison
His family background anon, that's generally what people refer to when they say things like that. Of course he personally was a bum but only because he chose to
>but only because he chose to
America isn't a free state
Coward
Why do people pretend this movie is good?
I can't believe people went to find the bus and fricking drowned like he would have if he tried to cross the river. Even he was smart enough not to try to cross it when the tide was high.
Because KStew trailer trash is hot
I love Eddie Vedder's soundtrack. Listen to it all the time.
Could be worse. He could have lived like a moron.
>dies like a moron
the dumbest thing is there was a mac donalds 3 miles from where he died..
Its been awhile since I saw it but did this guy actually have a plan? I know the river cuts him off from returning home but was that really his plan? Run back to society if its all too much? Plus, he totally could have crossed that river anyways. Idk why he just chose to die instead

eddie vedder soundtrack was amazing tho
Eddie Vedder sucks.
His incoherent moaning was never good on anything.

That's even more moronic. He's one human, not "humanity". People found out by trying and constantly failing over the course of millenia
the true depths of mcandless' moronation usually aren't even touched upon in these threads.
At least he went the be moronic and does route instead of becoming another Ted K. He was well on his way towards that line of thinking but Ted was actually a good outdoorsman for a college professor.
yeah, most white males die like morons from easily preventable scenarios
see the pandemic
>wonder why he didnt stay with the trailer prk chick
>find out that itl she was a morbidly obese
Lol
why didnt he just bring more food?
he had a death wish anyway the whole thing was a drawn out suicide
Why does he make Cinemaphileners seethe but normies love him and find him an inspiration?
Cuz normies r dumb bro
I'll all for breaking away from the system, and I'm all for killing yourself, but don't pretend like he died "free"
