That means its working
I was watching the first for some serkis kino
and when chadwick was on screen I got real sad
Because it couldn't save him irl
Whites wouldn't understand.
>dies of a vague undisclosed illness offscreen
You mean he didn't get killed by Prince Namor? That's what I read.
>Why didn’t the Heart shaped herb save him??
Hahaha I wonder why lol
Barber: watchu want senpai
>you know those diarreha turds you get after a night of drinking?
Barber: Say no more
Death isn't the end
I would have been narratively stronger to say that his return from the spiritual realm was at best a temporary reprieve. The last of the existing herb that revived him only a stopgap... There was no halting his death, only delaying it so that he might right what wrongs he could in that time.
He’s not Superman, he doesn’t get to right wrongs before dying.
He just died like a b***h, just like Chadwick.
so that's it? No more T'Challa in the MCU forever?
Not until they do a full on COIE/Secret Wars-style reboot at this point.
It's honestly moronic to me because it's not even like it'd be a big deal. We all know too that they likely had big plans for Black Panther moving forward so I have no idea why they shot themselves in the foot like this.
I get that it's mainly out of respect, but at the same time, they could've tried something like having an alternate universe version of T'challa come in and take the mantle.
It's their fault for hyping up Black Panther too much
Kind of reminds me how Dark Knight Rises just ignored Joker because Ledger died
This is more like Christian Bale dying between The Dark Knight and Rises.
Yeah. It's their fault he's so hype
Bitch, this ain’t the comics. This ain’t going on for ever. Movie characters have an end. MCU knows that.
While characters die, the universe still goes on.
Unlike in comics.
It's Hollywood and they can recast any role, they really don't care. They just wanted to cater to the black audiences ego and make it seem like this is super important to them and not some media product.
They should have just recasted him and moved on but they want to milk black people's emotions.
They wanted to go woke with MSheU stuff and were itching to get Shuri into the Panther suit as soon as they could. Chadwick's death just gave them an excuse. Even before hand they were bugging Cooler about how soon he planned on switching off to Shuri as Black Panther.
>respect
homie they gender swapped him before the body was even cold. boseman knew he was dying of cancer and wanted Tchala recast and the character to continue. Disney capitalized on his death to turn something for black boys into a yass kween movie for white leftist spinsters.
>It's frankly hilarious
Buck status/10
>white leftist spinsters
>ignoring your own keens
Basketball American confirmed.
>No more T'Challa
Yes, but after credits reveal that he had a son who is named after him.
So we are getting a T'challa, but not THE T'challa
>black man has a secret son never mentioned or shown until the guy dies
You'd think the NCAA would protest about that.
Yup avengers team lost next potential leader after Steve. Only one remaining who can take the position now is Hawkeye.
There's still Scott
Would be based if he steps up and tries to reunite the Avengers after his first encounter with Kang.
Not a leader.
Quantumania is about him being replaced by his daughter.
Falcon? Bucky? Captain Marvel?
Shit shit shit
It should be James Rhodes.
Yeah, this Hawkeye
Yeah maybe Hawkeye will goto thunderbolts
She will lead the Young Avengers.
Only the new Black Widow and Bucky are leaving the Avengers for the Thunderbolts
Who can be leader if young avengers? Looks like shuri maybe?
Shoulda just recasted the Black person, they all look the same anyways.
I never understood this. Do you really think that Chadwick Boseman looks like this angry manlet? Just admit that you have facial blindness from being autistic.
seethe harder darkies, you know he's right
Confirmed autist
Doesn't stop em from recasting Rhodey.
>Do you really think that Chadwick Boseman looks like this
You got me there
If no am Grug, am bad. Grug good, Grub tribe good because am Grug tribe. Unga bunga.
Ike Perlmutter posts on Cinemaphile?
So what's the weird script on the sign supposed to be? Wakandan? Do we have an alphabet translation somewhere?
The movie itself has a lot of title introductions to locations that translate themselves into english, so yes, somewhere.
>Can recast a nondescript white character who's been in 5 movies who died
>Can't recast a nondescript black character who's been in 4 movies and a TV special who died
They recast War Machine, so the racial excuse is out.
>They recast War Machine, so the racial excuse is out.
Nah, nobody gave a frick back then because the MCU was an infant and Occupy Wall Street and its fallout had yet to happen.
Yeah but Ciba Gooding Jr asked for more money. That is much worse to Marvel than dying.
I mean who did they recast that died? Everyone who was recast as far as I can recall was some creative dispute or something. It's like if you fricking deified Chris Evans then he fricking died, it's extra hard to say "we're going to tastefully get someone fricking else to be the main star"
>Can recast a nondescript white character who's been in 5 movies who died
What main character white guy did they recast who died IRL?
General Ross. By Indiana Jones no less.
>General Ross
>Main character
>didn't even originate in an MCU movie
You're trying so fricking hard and just failing over and over
General Ross being so unimportant in the MCU is exactly why he shouldn't have been recast. Just say he died or retired between movies and nobody would care because he was just a minor character and was already really old.
Red Hulk was a big fricking deal in the Marvel Comics for a while. Ross has always been the main Hulk villain too. They just up and recast him in one instant. But T'Challa they needed to milk and act like MLK 2.0 just got assassinated.
Don't bother anon. MCUgays don't read comics. All they know is what Feige tells them.
>"Somehow... Black Panther has died."
Marvel handled Chadwick's passing far better than Lucasfilm did with Carrie Fisher's
Kind of shitty that kids were denied a Black Panther movie because Disney was too stubborn to recast.
cancer and spider-man's webbing are the only true fatalities in marvel
He died of Ligma.
Super Soldier Serum > Heart Shaped Herb. American science proving itself superior to African voodoo.
you fricking moron it's not about stopping his death but dealing with grief of the passing.
Does Wakanda use MS Webding for their language?
Disney going through with the production of Wakanda Forever after the actor for the title character of Black Panther had died of cancer causes me to dislike the MCU more, they could have just scrapped it but squeezing money out of this shared universe cash cow is vastly more important to them.
They literally could have had Wakanda Forever take place between the Snap and the Blip, couldn't they?
No because Shuri got snapped (even though it wasn't shown) and they wanted her to be Panther.
Kinda insensitive of Marvel to make it so the homies were weak in the water, and the mexican was weak in the desert
Image how much she suffered.
Her son and daughter died for what she thought wouldbbe forever for 5 years.
Then his son comes back but dies a year later out of a disease he hid, then your daughter is captured/maybe killed.
You sanction a rescue operation to what you know is a credible world ending threat but you don't care because it's your daughter.
A few hours later you see hundreds of your citizens being slaughtered, your army equipment cut in half and you're just thinking will we survive this?
And you rescue the girl who started it all and in your last moments there's this tremendous amount of pain and fear that maybe you just caused everyone in your country and specifically your daughter to die.
God imagine that nonsense being your written language
Do people really expect them to just recast a guy who died from cancer lol
They actually just did with William Hurt.
It seems they retconned it to be something you have to take more than once/it's temporary. What's more confusing is why they forgot that Wakanda has stasis technology they could have but T'challa in until Shuri succeeded.
