I'd blame Mabel more for ending the possibility of this ship than anyone else. Candy was being unreasonable but Mabel should've at least said that her brother wasn't a manprostitute and there's probably a misunderstanding in the whole situation.
Not really, but at least Pacifica likes him, still Dipper only visited Gravity Falls for the summer and was never going to have a lasting girlfriend from that area, he'll most likely get a girlfriend from his hometown
>he'll most likely get a girlfriend from his hometown
one can only hope but he's going back to Northern California, at best he'll find some bi girl who will give him a chance.
It's not that this was in any way a bad ship (it would actually be somewhat funny if Dipper had managed to connect with every girl EXCEPT Wendy who he wanted) but I know I'm not the only one who detected an usual amount of seethe by Alex toward it. It's the only ship I can remember him publicly calling out and shaming fans for, and that he devoted an entire episode toward sinking it (one that disrupted the flow of the story immensely) make me wonder what the hell was up with Alex.
Imagine if Mutt Braly got mad that people were shipping Maddie and fricking Toadie or some shit and devoted an entire episode toward sinking it right before they attacked Andrias' castle.
What is worse is that the episode only served to make Dipper look cowardly and unheroic, in order to justify the "break up". In no way do I blame Candy, who I considered an interesting yet undeveloped side character, for that mess. It's weird how these creators always have a random character they hate, and when they find out fans like this character they flip their shit. Maggie with Amphibia, or even some random storyboarder making TGAMM Tammy fans for daring to ask if she appears again.
>Marco thread
>Finn thread
>Now a Dipper thread
Self inserters get the rope
I don't self-insert as a lame israeli boy who's too much of a pussy to get laid.
>who's too much of a pussy to get laid.
but that's you
Self inserters don't like Finn anymore because they can't relate to him that he's now a buff, handsome adventurer who fricks a hot magic tree lady.
Every single demographic has their self inserters, at least we don't demand them to be fat and brown like certain demographics demand.
Not really. He got Pacifica
not canon
While I'm a Dipper/Pacifica fan. Candy does make more sense as a love interest
>Best friend with his sister
>Loves nerdy shit
>Down to earth than rich and shallow
nerdy shit
Has this ever show this aspect, or people just assume it because she wears glasses?
I just remember her being a nerfed Mabel in terms of personality.
She and Dipper trade Monstermon cards.

Blew his chance to have the most awkward relationship with the world’s most boring character?
Candy’s character is just “girl”.
This episode was just the manlet publicly sacrificing a WMAF ship at the Altar of simpdom to impress feminists Dana Terrace and Emmy C
I never finished the episode, it was too painful to watch Dipper be forced to fumble the bag like that.
