Quasimodo is ugly (horrendously so, the very sight of him is supposed to be vomit-inducing), ignorant, violent and lustful. He ends up killing his father-figure, who actually did love him, because he's upset he couldn't get his dick wet.
Esmeralda is literally just a teenage bawd, not even a prostitute but a picky bawd who has zero qualms about spreading her legs for a soon-to-be married man and ruins the lives of basically all the other characters because "ew they're too old and ugly" which even ends up causing her own death in the process
Frollo is incredibly complex and unambiguously a good man, just struggling with new desires he cannot repress any longer. He genuinely did raise Quasimodo with love out of the kindness of his heart when he didn't even have to. He's also not racist, in fact he seems to be the least racist character in the entire book.
Phoebus is literally just a horny soldier who only ever listens to his dick.

The disabled have never been pushed out of people's sight more than they are now.
