I didn't like his voice
I saw the movie on a plane totally unaware of the drama and found it adequate but not great. Didn't like the main character or the relationship with her dad much, which was a pretty critical thing to like to enjoy the movie
Rest of the movie was okay-ish. Had the predictable "everything falls apart at the worst possible time" bit. Wish Mom had a little more foreshadowing to her psychotic rage; having her slaughter the superbots kinda came out of left field while Dad was the anti-technology guy.
How long had PAL been planning to round up the humans? There's certainly enough going on behind the scenes to suggest she'd made modifications to the factory well before the movie takes place. Was she planning on keeping Mark around until he tossed her aside during the robot reveal?
No and I suppose that ties into how her character is fumbled
All signs point to her being completely innocent until she got tossed in the garbage. She just is able to take over and commence her plans insanely fast
Yeah it doesn’t make the most sense but neither does it really for her to logically jump to banishing the entire human race
My primary point is that she IS completely right. Every scene we see continually validates her assertion that this world’s humankind is completely worthless. And honestly, I still think the whole “one family pulls it together under duress and this refutes PAL” ending rings kinda hollow
At the very least it doesn’t change or address how she was tossed away as literal garbage when the whole movie is supposedly about preserving bonds. Kinda fricky that she just loldies
>Every scene we see continually validates her assertion that this world’s humankind is completely worthless
Yeah, all of the "normal people" shown were, oddly enough, garbage.
I can't say it'd do any better with a sequel to give PAL another shot at wiping out the humans. For the movie's ending to work, PAL needs to be strictly on Mark's phone, but that's rarely the case when it comes to AI villains. There's always a backup copy in case the primary fails -- or the backup is sent to act as the primary, in which case the original can watch and learn from a safe distance. A copy of PAL was basically on everyone's phones, though, right? She was the little AI helper for day-to-day needs.
In my fiction, she'd be found and repaired by some dude that she/the movie initially treats as a basic "haha he's simping for a phone" lackey that she's using since she has no robots
Only for his earnest care for her bringing about a change of heart
me being unplugged from most netflix drama threads(huh is that a thing) I didnt know of any drama I thought it was a good movie that became to predictable towards the end but was overall a good movie
It was okay. I think it was pretty overrated, I saw some reviews that almost considered it a masterpiece, and it really wasn't that good, but I do admit it was enjoyable and it had some really funny moments.
I regret watching my local dub though, instead of using regular voice actors like in other movies, Netflix got some celebrities for the main characters, and they were really, really bad.
No this movie was absolutely terrible. The cast was unlikable. The story was somehow too cliche and too over the top. Frick even the visuals were spastic and migraine inducing. No wonder this film is only remembered because of a pedophile's incestuous fanart.
It had moments.
I honestly don't get why some anons sperg out over it.
Katie being a lesbian triggered some segment of Cinemaphile, others mad about the kid's voice, others mad because the film is Vee-adjacent, etc.
>sperg out over it
They obsessively catalogue every detail they find interesting and try to tell you as much of it as possible?
Because, like other nothingburger movies, the shills forced it in our faces 24/7. We are tired of this shit.
I liked Aaron.
did you like his voice or nah?
I liked it but also wish it was two separate movies.
Why?
There was drama for this movie?
Its best we not talk about it. Just talk about the movie.
Was it incest drama?
Drama? What, the gay stuff?
>barely disguised Vee thread
Its tiring.
The Vee thread is over here:
The only Vee that exists.

I wish I had a big sister I could impregnate no cap
I don't know what drama are you talking about, but I liked the movie.
Some roastie on twitter likes to bring herself up in threads about this movie because she's a vapid hole desperate for our attention.
In other words, women are at it again.
She probably cry on Twitter again, and then Tweet on her other account acting like nothing happened.
The MC is a lesbian.
>five second post credits scene that can be skipped and doesn’t effect the plot at all
I don’t care.
For me, it's the dinosaur girl.
Abby was cute for the 2 minutes we saw her.
Rest of the movie was okay-ish. Had the predictable "everything falls apart at the worst possible time" bit. Wish Mom had a little more foreshadowing to her psychotic rage; having her slaughter the superbots kinda came out of left field while Dad was the anti-technology guy.
It was a movie made by Millennials for Zoomers. Literally nobody remembers this movie except for Twitter weirdos.
she's the type of girl I would've probably had a passive crush on in elementary or middle school
>shes a New Zealander
They're take a long time to become friends with them kiwis
So is this gonna be another mentally ill eceleb thread or can we talk about how PAL did nothing wrong?

she was only on eric andre's phone and the new robots which nobody ever bought because they turned evil at their announcement conference

Just saw it the other day. Certainly made me laugh.
UOHOU! ToT!
No Vee, glad Encanto cucked your fave film at The Oscars
>Vee?
I guess she'd be upset, she'd probably like Encanto more
I wishes to insert my wiener into the gay girl. She looked smelly like weed but also funny like a neet girl.
Yep.
Yes, yes we did.
me being unplugged from most netflix drama threads(huh is that a thing) I didnt know of any drama I thought it was a good movie that became to predictable towards the end but was overall a good movie
...does his voice grow on you guys or something cause it's kinda the one thing I don't get?
Cutie Mitchell

I thought it was decent.
Didn't like how formulaic the third act was.
It was fine, but had a bit too much spastic zoomer humor for my taste. I'm also tired of the moronic dog trope. Katie is a top tier qt, though.
No this movie was absolutely terrible. The cast was unlikable. The story was somehow too cliche and too over the top. Frick even the visuals were spastic and migraine inducing. No wonder this film is only remembered because of a pedophile's incestuous fanart.
Not that much. It was all ego masturbation for the socially incompetent artists who made it, trying too hard for that "omg she's totally me" vibe
There was so much creative passion in it that even if you didn't like the film I feel there's still a respecable work here.
Plus I like the siblings
whos the artist here? i saw her stuff and i liked it but never found her again
Vee
The dad was easily the best character in the movie and it wasn't even close.
No, was stupid, gay, pretentious shit.
Also, that HS "art scribble" style overstayed it's welcome real fast.
