I read Clarissa the last night. It was interesting for the psychological element of it for sure, but honestly, I didn't get that sad or perturbed by it. At most I felt kinda bad for Clarissa and maybe a bit grossed out but that was it. The bath one elicited the strongest response. I think it's just hard for me to care about fictional things like that, so I want to see what gets to you, anons.
What are some examples of things from comics and cartoons that got an actual reaction out of you, Cinemaphile?

I watched the Maxx show and I wasn't expecting the dialogue to be so heavy in this thing. Plus the imagery is unsettling to look at, the harsh tonal shifts in the hallucinations, the eerie facial expressions, the uneasy way it jumps from limited animation to expressive movements, it makes it uncomfortable.
Any lines in particular you remember? I watched it a while ago, I actually really liked the visuals, very distinct and intriguing in my opinion. I remember the part where the isz gang up on that lady and eat her alive legitimately got me squeamish.
I haven't seen it but I'll be sure to look at it later, I like the premise and the film isn't long. (if you mean the 1987 one)
Yes, yes I do mean the 1987 short. Here you go. I do not think it is important for it to move you, because people are moved by different things, but I do hope you can enjoy it.

I liked the maxx show ending better than the book. Also I find it funny the show censored mister gone being a rapist by making him a serial killer.
The Man Who Planted Trees made me cry because it touches at a beautiful capacity of the human spirit.
My homie
JTHM and I Feel Sick had some great introspective moments and plenty of gross out shock value gore.
The ability to balance both was interesting at least, knowing he's just the Invader Zim guy to everyone.
Guys was it fricked up if my mom demanded I showed her my first pubes when I was growing up?
>demanded
Like how strongly? My mom deflected me off on dad when I got excited about it.
Comics and Cartoons?
A friend of mine went through puberty before me (like 9 years old) and I asked my mom if my dick was the right size.
Not him but when me and my best friend were like 5 we peed in the same toilet so we could cross the streams and make an X with our piss. We didn't think it was weird or anything it was just like
>heheheh X pee lol
Yeah, there was a whole gang of kids in my neighborhood and everybody saw everybody's dicks because we were kids and didn't give a shit.
For me it was the episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog that revealed Courage's past. The star maker episode was emotional too.
I can still feel the actual panic of that countdown despite how silly the premise of his parents being rocketed to the moon was.
That one issue of Beasts of Burden with the lost puppies.
Beautiful Darkness by Kerascoet.
Both of these made me upset and almost a little nauseous.
Which issue was that?
There should be a crossover with Blind Girl and Clarissa, so they could both learn to stop being ungrateful little shits and appreciate what they have.
I try to forget I know this exists, and that one Elf-Dude comic strip. You know what I'm talking about...
Post it.
>The bath one elicited the strongest response
It's because it's so specific it makes you think "oh god, this artist's been through some shit" but as fricked up as it sounds, I was kinda disappointed he wasn't
I found the Ted Danson movie that inspired this more uncomfortable.
What movie was that? I don't even know who that is.
she looks like helga from hey arnold
