I got some questions. What tablet model and what drawing software are you using? How long did it take you to draw this?
I'm using a Wacom cintiq 16 I was fortunate enough to win sealed in an ebay auction for $270-ish. Works wonderfully, no complaints. If this one died in some horrible accident I'd get it again.
However be warned that the tablet cost has an extra $220-ish attached to it, because you absolutely want the metal kickstand to save your neck and the pro pen 2 slim to save your wrist. And a screensaver, just in case.
I use krita because it's free, works well enough and I'm used to it. Felt nibs, they feel way better and have much more control. I'm never going back to hard nibs again, my lines would jitter and slide/ I assign the main button of the pen to ctrl+z for undo, it's so handy to instantly undo a line you didn't like. I don't even bother using the eraser, I tired it for a while at first but it's faster to just tap the E key or an eraser brush than it is to flip the pen around. Only other thing I like are cotton gloves because I get sweaty hands.
According to document information the sketch took 43 minutes, seems about right. I like drawing shorties and I did this pose in a different perspective recently, so that likely contributed to a "quick" (by my standards) sketch time

I haven't tried clip studio paint yet, I should probably give it a shot but honestly software has never been a strong suit of mine. I'm still figuring out a lot of stuff on krita.
A separate tablet would be neat but I don't think I'd get my money's worth out of it, I like sitting in a chair with a nice solid canvas to draw. My stationary tablet Ive used a ton since I bought it, I've easily put 200+ hours of drawing into it. If I really need to draw and I can't get to my computer I'll scribble on paper. My only social is Warioanon on pixiv because that's what people called me during king Cinemaphile 2021, I didn't hate the name so it couldn't hurt to take it, at least while just drawing at a casual level.Just be warned I draw WEIRD shit, I'm not even talking just at sexual level, I'm talking it won't make even a modicum of sense if you weren't personally in the thread I drew something for.
