zoomer-aged. That's why I'm asking 'cause I can't find ANYONE outside of boomers and gen x'ers talking about it, and even then, it's just nostalgia-posting.
Honestly OP I feel like it's inevitable this thread is either going to die an early death or end up devolving into a Moral Orel thread since that show is way more popular on Cinemaphile, and obviously gets inspiration from Davey and Goliath.
True true. It's better than it fading into obscurity.
I've seen it but I'm not the biggest fan.

Understandable.
I just really wish more people looked at the show than writing it off as simply an inspiration for Moral Orel.
A bit unrelated but I remember hearing Dino say that Moral Orel was supposed to more of a "Leave it to Beaver" parody, and the similarity to Davey and Goliath was a coincidence?
Every so often a thread like this comes up to participate in. Otherwise I like to derail rugrats threads with Drew Pickles. And in the Harriet the Spy threads I like to ask for Nazi uniforms on the characters from drawgays.

All that said to anyone here who is actually a DnG fan, whats your favorite episode?
My in-genuine side picks: Blind Man's Bluff
where a black kid is racist against white people
My genuine side says: Cousin Barney
Where Davey is made to take care of his moron cousin.
I think I only ever saw one episode of this. I don’t remember exactly what happened but they end up in jail, the kid mentions something about finding God, and the dog replies something along the lines of “Don’t you know God is just dog spelled backwards?”
When I was a kid there was a show in Buffalo called Rocketship 7 (on channel 7 duh.)
It was on Sundays and was a hosted cartoon show and they showed Davey and Goliath.
There was also an after school show "The Commander Tom Show"
- it was Angel's Dad.
It is absolutely still and very enjoyable to non-religious people. The God and religion stuff is there but really the lessons and shit are common sense stuff nothing out right being a christian stuff.
Going to bed early for sunday church
it's a cozy night
Yes I think it’s mostly gen x though
holy frick OP, how old are you? my grandpa always talked about this show

Be glad it's that way. Hearing old people talk about shows they like in relation to their own nostalgia is always the best.

Always based to see Zoomers liking stuff from before their time period. It gives me hope.
No fans of Davey and Goliath here! There goes the neighborhood...
That really squares my breasts.
Mrs. Gumby IS stacked.
Thank goodness for the internal genitalia!
The only episode I remember watching is the one where Davey's grandma dies.
%3D
Why would Davey and Goliath fans be on Cinemaphile? A place full of pedos, tumblr, porn addicts and the general scum of Cinemaphile?
Davey and Goliath is the shit. I am sorry I'm late to the thread.
Ok, so why are you here then, why do you come to Cinemaphile ?
>to discuss cartoons
that's literally 1% of Cinemaphile

Fake news that was a mad tv skit.

I cant be fan of something I didnt pirate
I gave a few episodes a watch once after I binged Moral Orel. I liked the first one where he got stuck in a cave
Is this show still enjoyable for someone who is not religious? The only Christian media I've watched and enjoyed is Veggietales
