Season 1 remains one of the best seasons of television ever, probably my favorite ever. Survival being a big theme of the season is partially what made it so great, life on the island was an actual struggle.
I wonder what was the practicality of wearing a thong in a survival scenario. Would her ass chafe and get sores? would there be rope burn that could lead to an infection?
It's a bikini thong and it it's not practical if she wants to avoid having an infection in her privates. How else can she ply her trade as the village prostitute if she makes a rookie mistake like that?
>Pick up a drunk chick in Mallorca at 5.30 am >She has been bawdting it up 12 hours, didn't even bother to change her bikini from early in the morning >Once she takes it off, the smell makes me gag, it's red from the saline water, urine and cheap fabric. >Excuse myself from her hotel room and rush to mine
It's the first time I sobered up from pussy stench alone
I've watched the first 3 seasons over 5 times each, I've probably watched season 1 at least 10 times. Season 6 is my least watched season, but even that one I've seen 4 times.
>i just can't get into it knowing how it ends.
who cares? just watch it for the experience of watching it.
They didn't have season 6 in mind when they wrote season 1, or 3.. so why does it matter?
>They didn't have season 6 in mind when they wrote season 1, or 3.. so why does it matter?
that's why it matters. just making shit up as they go along.

they planned out the ending after they wrapped season 3

On a rewatch you catch all these little foreshadowing moments. Like Locke explaining backgammon with the white and black, the adam and eve having little white and black rocks in their purses. Then they stretched it too thin and ruined it.

Is it really foreshadowing when it can be interpreted in any way possible? The whole black and white thing is referenced in many situations but once you piece them together they don't amount to anything except being a theme that's reccurent within the island. Like the typewriter, why would there be a typewriter in the middle of the jungle except as a frick you to the audience. Why not a commodore console like the one in the bunker?
There's a lot of stuff like that in the Island that I wrote off as The Island (the writers) just fricking with the audience for the sake of it. It wouldn't be out of place, it's like the town of Silent Hill fricking with the minds of the protagonists. Or the Zone fricking with the minds of the Physicist and the Writer. It's not up to us to understand some of it.
Also, the whole "pocket of energy" was too handwavy. It makes as much sense as a "bucket of gravity".

I don't know how more obvious "one light (piece, one dark (piece)" gets in referring to Jacob and his brother. they just happened to put in a good vs evil line in the very first episode?

But was there really a good vs evil archetype in any of the survivors? One would say Jack was "the good" and Sawyer "the bad" but there never was a true hero or villain (except the obvious ones within the mercs, dharma, etc). Jacob and Black personman could be anything and everything. Black personman wants to get out of the island and Jacob wants to stop it. we don't get anything else out of it and without more information, you will never know why would it be "evil" for him to get out.

No, that's my point, it refers to Jacob and his brother >we don't get anything else out of it and without more information, you will never know why would it be "evil" for him to get out
It's one of those 'answers' that you have to figure out for yourself. Everyone who got too close to him got infected, and that's probably what would happen if he got off the island. Seems pretty evil to me
I work at a place that's heavily unionized and all the union's correspondence with us addresses us as "brothers and sisters" so as a result I've taken to referring to everyone as brother. As a white guy it's nice to hit an old black guy with "Hey my brotha how ya doin brotha-man"
Now that the dust has settled, can we finally admit everything after season 1, excluding the first half of season 2, and a few episodes in season 5 are a sloppily written complete waste of time for all parties involved?
Good memories. Honestly watched this TV show 3 times already, with a rewatch binge in the beginning of this year, and it still holds up. Sure there are some filler/bullshit episodes, but something like The Constant sticks with you for a long time. Almost all the characters are memorable and have their own unique path.
Doing a binge of lost, half way through season 1
Still holds up to this day

i could never watch this show again, even if some episodes and characters are legit good

that's not a thong

I suggest you to try it on yourself and report your findings afterwards.
No need, I've already seen it first hand.

No but Muslims do.
The movie where this guy played Jesus with Christopher Plummer narrating everything is the best unintentional ASMR of all time

>watch this show
>get hyped as frick for the monster in the jungle
>sounds like a clockwork golem or something, my penis gets very hard
>it's just a shitty cgi cloud of smoke
i felt like i was fricking robbed.
the good thing is u can do exactly this once again but watching all 4 seasons of stranger things!
Now that the dust has settled, can we finally admit everything after season 1, excluding the first half of season 2, and a few episodes in season 5 are a sloppily written complete waste of time for all parties involved?
no
No, you just got filtered.
"A black pillar of smoke threw him 50 feet in the air... ripped his guts out"
based Keamy poster.
Do you want some eggs? I make good eggs.
Not sure what it is about this guy but I hate him. His face, his voice, his large teeth, weird accent. I dont get it
It's primal fear because he looks like a psycho chad who can brutally frick you up and then go make himself some eggs.

Since I got kicked out, I call everybody broski.
He was just a big Hulkamaniac brother
But is he a real American fighting for the rights of every man?
