This was beyond frustrating to watch, and the ending was super disappointing too. The guy is such a fricking robot I started swearing at him out loud in the last episodes. So much suppressed emotions, so many unsaid things in virtually every scene, on both sides. Torture. Why couldn't he
or her just propose at the end? It would've been perfect. Almost a complete lack of communication, for such a deep connection, if there's such powerful emotions involved, there would've been verbal fights. For that matter neither of them fought to keep the other in the relationship.
>I'm dating him/her now
>OK
frick off
>"Oh he's so smart, the best editor in the world"
>Hurr me caveman me like write, me go New York.
YEAH RIGHT, YOU FRICKING ROBOT. Having said that I teared up at their intimacy and trust when they were together each time.

don't worry I wasn't going to
Just looked up her nude scenes on aznude. Women are beautiful
I'll say
The actress is an ugly mid, not a perfect mid
I can't watch it
>Just looked up her nude scenes on aznude.
Based.
I saw breasts
i don't understand, why would you watch this ? are you a woman ?
Shes naked a lot. I didn't watch it, just the nude scenes, but yeah
the quieter episodes were the best
him settling in to uni life
them going to the funeral
they were never really on the same wavelength
they fricked in school and them keeping it a secret is what made it work
everytime after that was forced. as if they were making up for a relationship that never actually existed
It wasn't about fricking. The only people that were on the same wavelength in the entire show were them two. She didn't want to fight for him, maybe because she loved him too much and just accepted anything he did, eventually wiflully accepting his departure and making the goodbye easy, and he on the other hand was lukewarm and unsure about his "social life" I suppose? He was like "meh" throughout, she was beyond vulnerable, she was ready to die for him. I guess it wasn't a symmetrical relationship, but the core of what they had was true, shame he was such a fricking robot. I don't know if you realize this but they never even raised a voice at eachother, not a single fight. What a bizarre and heartwrenching puzzle.
>I don't know if you realize this but they never even raised a voice at eachother, not a single fight
But that wasn't due to lack of conflict but because every time they did have conflict one or both of them bailed. That's way WAY worse than fighting.
After she realized they broke up over a misunderstanding she should have never allowed him to just let things go without a fight when they get back together.
>After she realized they broke up over a misunderstanding she should have never allowed him to just let things go without a fight when they get back together.
True, and she never did. The whole story is built on misunderstandings and staying silent when you shouldn't be. Like Connell's mom told him in the beginning, she was too good for him. When they were in Italy and that spoiled brat was verbally abusing everybody, mainly Miranda, Connell was napping, and worse yet, stopped her from slapping the shit out of him. Same when her brother punched her nose, what an understated "reaction". Spineless coward, from beginning to end.
she never loved him
he was her first so she became obsessed. while this does render her "vulnerable" he never did anything to exploit her
it was her choice to end it awkwardly so when they did meet up again at uni it was never going to work
you can't frick your way out of awkward
I marathoned this one evening and it had me fricked up for a couple days.
I've been fricked up for a while before marathoning it today and uh, yeah. Having someone love you practically unconditionally and trust you to that extent, the mere thought of it feels like razors.
For me it was more that it reminded me how it felt to be in love and that I haven't touched a female sexually in over 10 years.
>Oh no, the love of my life had her face smashed!
>Hey abusive sociopath brother that wasn't very nice, it better not happen again! See yous later!
She liked it tho, her brother is a real man
Are you a woman?
a woman wrote this and it's painfully obvious
explain
not op but
>unpopular and bullied girl is actually pretty and smart
>chad jock bf is interested in her for some reason.
>chad bf is also a talented writer and really sensitive (but not too much)
>chad bf will do anything for her
>"dark" sex
I really did enjoy the show though, its just very obvious at times.
The ultimate message of it is that capitalism is bad
Is this show actually about anything or does it just follow an on-off relationship between two irish hillbillies?
it's a drawn out torturous relationship drama spanning years (12 eps)
can women even enjoy sex if its not violent anymore? The only time my ex actually enjoyed sex with me was when I just went apebrain and started ragdolling her around the room and throwing her up against a wall
>can women even enjoy sex if its not violent anymore?
I see your point but she didn't. She got into that stuff because she wanted to feel what she felt with Connell but it was cold and artificial. She always lovingly submitted to him even from the beginning
(they had only kissed once at that point), yet he was never rough with her. Every other boyfriend was a complete mismatch in one way or another with zero connection.
It's a softcore porn disguised as relationship drama.
>bored
>see thread
>Hey, I'll check out this movie just to see if OP is a gay.
>look it up
>it's a 12-episode series
>nope.jpg
Lol this ugly b***h is the one who wrote it.
>you have to be good looking to write a drama or a love story
no
I'd tap it
now I know why her brother beat the shit out of her
You knew this would be shit from how much women were wetting themselves about it.
bro how did you see the cover and immediately know not to watch it? look at that shit
I didn't see the cover, I remembered watching it a few years ago when Cinemaphile was losing its shit about it. Back then I only saw the first two episodes and when things started to go sour I stopped watching. But I'm in a dramatic mood lets say so it's kind of fitting.
It's a decent show. Best thing to come out of Ireland in a long time.
What did you expect from a show for women and gays starring a woman and a gay? One about muh therapy no less. Burn it
