No and you can’t properly rank this because different characters should be performed in different ways and are hard to compare. Clearly, people are going to give more attention to performances that consist largely of long close ups (Like Falconetti and Binoche on that list) but that doesn’t mean other performances are inferior because the style is different.
Falconetti is incredible and it might be my favorite performance of all time, but that performance is intrinsically linked to the form and the era and would probably not hold up in a contemporary film. Maybe it would, but it’s hard to compare silent and spoken roles.
De Niro is the most overrated actor of all time. Does the same shit in most of his roles and he’s usually quite awful.

I wouldn't go that far, he has been great in quite a few movies, but Raging Bull is overrated

I only recently watched There Will Be Blood for the first time and i seriously don’t understand why it’s so highly regarded. It certainly wasn’t a bad movie, but Day-Lewis is so over the top and cheesy in it yet people crram their pants over his performance. He is only outdone by Dano who is fricking awful in the movie, like high school play tier overacting.
