I remember watching a zombie movie back in my childhood, it was a very scary one, but I can't recollect the title.
It featured some kind of cryogenics, there were barrels with frozen dead bodies coming back to life IIRC.
Could anyone help me out?
>every evil dead except 2013
Absolutely kino >2013
Shit
Sorry fellas but 2013 was a dreary, cynical and overly serious movie that wasn’t scary or funny and was completely humourless and the gore wasn’t even that good. Evil Dead Rise is campy fun made with a love for the series that doesn’t just rehash previous films.
I couldn't get into Rise, from the troony cast to the terrible writing ("Mommy's with the maggots now :)") to the sound design just being a bunch of annoying screeches mixed with booming bass. Just bland and predictable, lacking any of the creativity that defined the series before. I respect the guy who went to the panel when the movie was being promoted and told Sam snd Bruce straight up in front of a crowd that their movie sucked
Evil Dead Rise is legitimately one of the worst movies I've ever sat through.
>every character is an insufferable white woman >main character is pregnant subplot that could've been cut >oh but wait one of the "daughters" is transgender cause 2023 >single mom (lol) gets possessed >but only she gets possessed for some reason >but then later in the movie all the neighbors get possessed for some reason >but none of the other women in the apartment get possessed for some reason >somehow only the elevator gets filled with blood, why didn't the apartment get filled with blood? >nobody else in the building hears any commotion because there's a fricking thunderstorm >obviously tacked on ending that should've been cut along with the opening >entire movie is dark and has fake digital smearing around the edges
Still mad I wasted two hours of my life instead of shutting off this utter bilge after 5 minutes.
The first one was awful.
Then they remade it with the sequel.
Then they went off in a weird direction for the third that it almost felt like watching a different franchise.
Then the series tried to tie it all together with out explaining any fricking thing.
Then there were several reboots and sequels and Bruce Campbell spinning his time as a star in these movies in to some sort of acting career is truly the magic.
I generally agree with you but MC1 basically already did that by surprise killing off Tom Atkins 2 3rds of the way through after presenting him mostly as the lead for much of the film before shifting over to Campbell.
Robert Davi was also great in 2 & 3 which softens the loss of Bruce.
Evil Dead 1 is a certified classic.
ED2 is a masterpiece.
I FRICKING HATE ARMY OF DARKNESS, NOT EBCAUSE OF THE COMEDY BUT BECAUSE RAIMI WATERED IT DOWN TO PG-13 KIDDIE FRICKING TRASH WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HIS EQUIVILANT OF PETER JACKSON'S BRAINDEAD!!!FACT!!!
Evil Dead Rise was bad, and aside from Jane Levy I don't think the 2013 reboot has anything going for it either
>and aside from Jane Levy
Pretty much. Seeing her soaking wet with fake blood for the last third of the movie was the highlight.

Return of the Living Dead or something else from the series
No, it wasn't a comedy, that's for sure.
Cryozombies
Return of the Living Dead 3 has the cryo zombies
This is it! Thank you.
was there a goth girl that gets naked and stabs herself with needles?
Could be, what movie?
They are all bad movies
The first movie was obviously bad. That's why it had to be remade.
The first movie is the best one and an utter classic
It's also the only horror franchise with no good movies.
Nah. Saw a couple. Even as a kid they were dogshit.
Nah. 2 and AoD were good. 1 was ok.
The rest is shit

The troony dies and everything is the troony's fault though. The film is very critical of trannies.
Army of darkness is the best out of all the movies
For me, it's 1 > 3 > 2 > AvED > 2013 > Rise
Evil Dead is fricking dogshit.

Literally every single movie except for the first is fricking horrid. Kys OP

Body Snatchers (haven't seen the Nicole Kidman remake to be fair)
The Cold Prey trilogy.
The Maniac Cop trilogy.
>The Maniac Cop trilogy.
>protagonist of the previous movie dies within 5 minutes of sequel
I despise this trope so much

2 is the only one I really like
I don't really remember 2013's

I saw the first one and wasn't really into it but it might've been a bad day. Worth rewatching, but I hear 2 is better anyway.
The first one is such boring shit I gave up on watching the rest.
The only good evil dead movies are army of darkness and drag me to hell
op is a moronic butthole
