If people support something artisitically then theyll pay anyways, thats how fandoms work or in the case of valve games, hats and cosmetics. Making money off dvd sales is nothing compared to merchandising over decades, or becoming a cult classic.

I wish I had that webm saved that shows the "intro" of a common blu-ray compared to a ripped version that just starts the movie the moment you press play.
i watch around 50-60 new movies a year and only about 2-3 of those in the theater
The people who made the movie already got paid.
