It is when you put your favorite midwit movies on a shirt in an attempt at striking up conversation as you can't otherwise do so and/or you think you are being quirky.
At least he's trying I guess. Not everybody can go out and just talk to people, small talk is a lot harder than having actual meaningful conversation with friends/family
I talk to an old man at my pool hall bar about old westerns all the time. He's the only guy I will talk about movies with. The fact that he knew God Forgives, I Don't was shocking.
this is why people wear band shirts. not as autistically as whole collages but I've had plenty of conversations with people based off their shirts or mine
last one was with a janitor who was like 60 in a library who spotted my Joy Division longsleeve and we had a chat over New Order vs Joy Division
You know what’s easier and less sad than being a walking advertisement? Just organically bringing up your favourite things in conversation with people and asking if they’ve ever heard of it.
Some people can't engage in conversation they need somebody else to start it. That's why it's important to not leave people out when you're at a social setting. Everybody knows what it's like to be with a group and a circle forms of people talking and you're "not quite in" the circle so you feel left out. Like at a bar or wedding or music venue or whatever. Part of being extroverted is being engaging to others, introverts are usually just observers in social settings and if they are talking it's more off to the side or you sometimes need to force yourself to get away from conversation like when church is over and the pastor wants to come see your kids and chit chat but there's like a dozen people walking up to him saying thank you every 30 seconds he has to wait to talk outside
Is is basically what normies do with their sports ball tees. They walk over to others wearing the same sports ball shirts and just small talk about "So, what do you think of <Midwestern University>'s chances this year"?
I hate talking about movies with "film buffs". It's just a nonstop string of "have you seen x, well have you seen x then?" Until they find one you haven't seen. You get way better discussion from construction workers or stoners if you happen to realize you both watched the same movie
Discussing opinions is a terrible idea for socializing. It will only lead to disagreement. If you are going to do it, it better be something that you absolutely require agreement on; something like food.
If you're an autist go read a list of conversation starters.
Once you are not an autist here are some options:
- What's your favourite thing to put in your mouth?
- What's the last thing you do before going to sleep?
- Have other people heard you in the shower?
That's just all-round sad.
>wanting to talk to people about common interests is... le sad

okay what are some of your go to talking points when talking to strangers and women
>midwit
pseud
there are easier and less cringe ways to find film fans to talk with than wearing a billboard around displaying your tastes
I walk around saying "waltuh" to myself which usually strikes up a conversation about breaking bad with those around me
is Cinemaphile one of these places?
My trusty human centipede tee is always a clutch
No, not at all.
Who in Western countries hasn't seen Breaking Bad at this point?
Everyone who is not gay
Me.
Don't care for drug shit.
>dude drugs
>dude capitalism le bad, socialized medical care le good
>dude Malcom's dad is... le bad!
No, I don't think I will.
You are clinically moronic and deserve to be put to death.
>>dude capitalism le bad, socialized medical care le good
That doesnt come up even once in the show
Never seen it. Never will.
I doubt I will ever give that show a chance.
When people I dislike said it was good that meant I knew it was bad
me 🙂
People who enjoy telling everyone that they haven't seen it.

might try this with an anime shirt
Boku no Pico incoming.

>Better Call Saul
>Movie
What a moron.
I have a Ricky 420 jersey, a Glatt jersey, a Bateman Jersey (Falco was out of stock) and a Pur N Clean sleeves
who makes these threads?
OP

once a cute girl said she liked my band tshirt, I said nothing
lol I love vignettes like this
it's almost artistic
>not a t-shirt with your letterbox account URL printed in it
If you do it, do it propertly, homosexual
>No QR code linking to letterboxd account
NGMI
Might try this with an porn shirt
How would you even list two dozen favourite pornstars?
I'd actively avoid him due to his shitty taste, lmao.
I think men shouldn't wear graphic tees outside of the gym or their own homes.
agreed. I was taught to dress nice and tuck in my shirt. it really shows that you are a manchild with no class.
lmao look at that kid wearing a tie, pretty much any teen wearing a tie is a tryhard cringe loser
>focusing on the tie
>ignoring the giant mud colored jacket
how many times a day do you expect a man to change his shirt?
As many times as it takes so I don't see their midwit movie, music, video game, etc. tastes.
I wear a suit to work so I'll always wear tees and shorts unless it's like a funeral or something
There are tv shows on there
considering it's still just an idea from the redditgay, it's safe to assume that image isn't him
I'm going to a wedding this summer that I don't want to go to but I'm gonna make a shirt like this and where it there. Frick em
Wearing clothing with pictures or writing on it is pathetic and contemptible.

Why are A24 fans always such embarrassing spergs?
my shirt would just be filled with Tinto Brass and Russ Meyer movies
