People hate the frick out of it, but I enjoyed some of the series. First half of season one is enjoyable. Second half is weird and I genuinely don't know what they were thinking. Season 2 is just as bad as the second half of season 1. I actually like alcilization quite a bit. The season after isn't as good, but it's okay. Haven't seen the spin-off, gun gale or whatever.

If we arent just limiting ourselves to series, Ghibli has some great anime. I guess you could maybe say Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood but I am torn on it. Personally I really like Samurai Champloo, early Lupin the 3rd, and Vinland Saga, but these are probably personal bias and I can see someone saying they arent technically great.
Funny thing is alot of the anime I am listing get shit on by """""anime fans""""" i guess because they are popular or "entry level" ignoring the fact that maybe they are so popular because they are so genuinely good that they manage to capture people who arent exactly fans of anime as a medium, which i think is a requirement for an anime to be great.
