I think Kid Flash and Wonder Woman is the superior pairing.
It was the least fricked thing about new 52 superman.
The constant crossovers, poorly collected editions, lois giving away clarks identity, supermans character himself were all worse.

Regular old default Wonder Woman and regular old default Superman are boring characters that make a boring "power couple". It's only vaguely interesting when one or more of them is completely damaged and dysfunctional.
I get that DC is stuck for ideas, so it's one moronic Crisis Event after another, filled-in with legacy sidekicks and shipper-shit. I think they've really said all they have to say about the Superfriends, and said a lot that shouldn't have been said. I just don't see a reason for the whole endeavor to carry on. Do a 24 issue wrap up and hang it up. Batman can always sell in other media.

Not really. I couldn't see beyond the gimmickiness of it all, as both a status quo shake up and and attempt to condense and simplify the universe of stuff they scrapped for the New 52 reboot.
I do really enjoy stories where they date because they show how the two don't really work as a couple despite appearing like they should on the surface.
Just the other day I read through Wonder Woman Rebirth, and I did like how Rucka managed to handle her and Steve dealing with the whole Superman thing along with all the other changes that had gone on with her canon over the years.
