Musicals are for gays and women. One of my childhood friends was really into cats and he turned out to be gay. All the gays in my college gaming club were super into musicals. My ex and her friends never stopped listening to the wicked soundtrack.

Unless you're gay or a woman you don't have a favorite musical song. The only musical straight guys will ever see is moulin Rouge and that's just a bunch of covers.

I don't enjoy musicals. I was very clear that musicals are fricking gay as hell.

                This is me:

gayness is the first step to troonyism. Trannies are literally the #1 threat to Western Civilization. If you support those groomers you're an actual IRL Satan worshipper.

                Stop muddying the fricking waters!

anon, only autistic people can maintain a lifelong argument with biology that they constantly lose. only autistic people confuse what they see for themselves.

the primary causal factor of transgenderism is autism.

From stage musicals you mean? I'm partial to Find Your Grail:

If we count movies then yeah, almost anything from the Renaissance Disney era has at least one nice tune as do most of the classic films.
I also think that High School Musical had a couple of nice tracks too (Breaking Free and that one that the 'villains' sing as their audition track).

I'm a huge Cinemaphile gay and massive music snob.
I mostly hate musicals with the very notable exception of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Carl anderson and Ted Neely put in career defining performances. The music is sexy and sweaty and full of soul, funk and freakout jazz in odd meters and drama.
The avant garde minimalist aesthetic in the props and costume really lets you enjoy the actors performances and the music without an insincere over blown production to distract you. It's a bit like a fever dream in sections.
"gethsemane" is a fricking insane vocal performance and Ted cracks my soul open everytime i listen to it.
"Heaven on their minds" has the best riff ever and carl anderson blows my mind with how agonisingly soulful is voice is.
    The movie is 10/10
The OST is also a fabulous album which i own on double vinyl which i got for free from the "random shite" box at my local record shop/

Was just about to post that. Most songs are good. Especially the song where they go from nobodies to burlesque to high class crooners. Also Broadway Melody. Also, that song where some blonde Aryan dude is singing about beautiful girls, great and funny set piece.

    Pretty gay but...
The Street Where You Live from My Fair Lady

    and
Climb Every Mountain from Sound of Music

Both very emotional songs filmed with cinematic restraint

My Fair Lady is excellent throughout and very witty. Sound of Music is not that great t b h, but that one song is tremendous
