1st time: Beauty And the Beast as a painter and the kid who distributed pamphlets
2nd time:Annie as a one liner actor
3rd time:The Little Mermaid as Baritone 2 for pit band
4th time:Stage crew for The Wedding Singer
5th time:Nice Work If You Can Get It
It was kino and a chest code into becoming popular and getting invited to parties. Meanwhile the kids there were nice, but really weird.
Agreed. Fred and Ginger are sublime. Animated films aren't the same kind of musical but they can be great. Chicago and Moulin Rouge I have to really be in the mood for or they give me a headache (especially the latter lol). Usually I just pick one from the 30s-50s and sit back and enjoy.
What happened to that comedy that was supposed to come out last summer about kids at a theater summer camp? It had a joke in the trailer about a straight play and gay play.
>ASH is a great singer and daddy >oGre from Skinny Puppy >Sarah Brightman soprano goth gf >Paris Hilton's face falls off
Main character used to annoy me more but I've seen it dozens of times.
If they start singing, I start swinging
ACK!
You okay, anon?
Anon?
Not all but I actually liked The Sound of Music
IMO the most annoying form of art.
More annoying than public art?
Agree, for some reason musicals just seem...gay.
Very gay. As gay as picrel.
I swear there’s a webm of this where some black guy in a lederhosen gets his head blown off but it might just be a fever dream
it's an homage to that
Breaks the immersion of the story and it's corny
I liked Little Shops of Horrors but that's about it I think
I liked The Sound of Music and Singing in the Rain. Idk about modern musical movies though I've never watched them
I was in 5 different musicals in grade school.

Yes
I've seen My Fair Lady over 100 times
Not that one, no
My dad actually knew a guy who lived with the IRL Von Trapps during the war. He said Maria was a horrible fat b***h
No, they are for the gays and old women.
I like the three penny opera
Yes. I do
I really do, I find the mise-en-scene in old school musicals to be incredible. Everything is just so well coordinated and it looks beautiful.
No
Yes
The Sound of Music, the greatest, perfect movie ever made.
For me?
Tommy
Nashville
Phantom of the Paradise
I like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. I think it's the only bonafide musical I've seen that I can recall lol.
>I like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
You like shit out of a diseased butthole.
>t. brunette
Great film. So much fun.
only the classics like Fred Astair or Singing in the Rain
almost all modern musicals are insufferably gay

The Sound of Music, Amadeus, and Topsy-Turvy for me.

No. I don't really like anything.
I still don't know what demon possessed me to watch the Les Miserables movie alone.
I wish I used that confidence to watch Greatest Showman instead.

Sure. Little Shop of Horrors, Fiddler on the Roof, the Disney renaissance movies.
>Do you like musicals Cinemaphile?
Yes.
