That's not how school children that age write. Every school child either writes in italic cursive or single letters if they're moronic.

Unironically true. I can't write much more than my name but can bullshit the rest from my memory of writing cursive in school.
When I took the SATs at the end of high school, we had to write a statement about how we agree not to cheat in cursive. I can't even tell you how many 17-18 year old raised their hands to say "I don't know how to write in cursive". They couldn't even bullshit it well enough.

We just don't use cursive in America almost at all.
I'd much rather learn other scripts from other languages that actually get used rather than cursive.

I'm English you fricking morons. Children are taught that writing like that is incorrect which is why I assumed an adult wrote it. I don't know why you're assuming I'm american when italic handwriting has been the standard in England for at least 60 years. I guess you Black folk took it as a chance to hate on mutts as that's cool now.

I've now just realized that she's probably written it with the quill she's holding which is why it's like that and so I'm also a moron.

A normal school. They never taught you to join up your handwriting?

              Anonymous

Never, I have looked over my old school books and only got marked down for poor handwriting, but no teacher actually taught us anything like that. This was back in the 90's as well.

Where do you live? I know that italic writing is the official standard but I thought it was supposed to be taught in every school.

Chester, starting to make me feel bad now. I learned the basics in primary school and doing lower and upper case letters and trying to join them. Cursive was never a thing in High School the teacher would just mark you down if they couldn't read every letter.

Most people including me used biro pens anyway so it kind of fricks up the writing. I thought that you didn't even know joint up writing in primary school which was why I was so surprised. I'm from gloucestershire btw.

I'm european and I wish we had cursive courses at school because i can't write or read it to save my life

There are like 100 different types of cursive, the italic one is the most basic so I still can't really read a lot of texts properly I don't think I have much of an advantage. It's pointless anyway since no one actually uses it.

She grew up in a chateau in France, then lived in one of the wealthiest parts in England, then attending some art school. Of course she would have been a c**t. You can tell that from her interviews and speeches at the UN.
