This is why companies stopped pandering to white nerds and started courting women and minorities, those groups will watch anything.

Anyone who watches star wars that isn't the original 3, non gold edition, should be stung to death butt naked by Japanese giant hornets. End of discussion.

My dad can do you one better.
He says only the first star wars movie is good and the rest is just milking the cow.
He also claims the same for Matrix too in his mind only the 1st movie is canon and real matrix

That's a popular opinion in the case of Matrix

The Empire Strikes Back is good but otherwise he's correct. Both the original Stars Wars and Matrix movie work well as self contained narratives and everything becomes strained and breaks when commercial interests forced them to become franchises.

Star Wars was initially a one and done. Then a few years later it was retitled to A New Hope. So yeah, you could just watch it as a self contained movie

It can't be because that episode came out in 1999 and Attack of the Clones came out in 2002.

That episode came out in 03. You're confusing it with the Sneed episode which indeed came out in 99.

I would rather see an era of much more in-depth, serious criticism, but I don't really have an issue with the shallow humorous takes either

Are Prequel fans the most persecuted people... ever?

That doesn't mean we should forget the generational trauma many Prequel fans still face in the current day.

Well Gen Xers were very mean spirited and cruel to George and the prequels. They defamed him as "a greedy hack who got lucky" even though he's actually a Buddhist hippie philanthropist who donated much of his fortune to charity.
