From what I recall Chris did in fact have a small collection of legitimate Sonichu fans back in the classic pre-Bob days (mostly turbo autists on par with Chris himself) but Chris's continued shenanigans with the trolls bleeding into the art killed them off. After that the most he got were white knights who didn't actually care about Sonichu beyond it being Chris's thing.
Looking back at everything in retrospect I do believe Chris genuinely suffered from gender/body dysphoria and simply lacked the ability to properly understand it or rejected it due to his upbringing, but like in many a case I'm still of the mind that Chris going full troon the way he did was other people influencing him long after he had the ability to reject it.
