watch the clip, the animation is REALLY choppy, so there's A LOT of inconsistencies through out it.
I hate people who say that this show needed more than 8 episodes because this was how this series was going to be told from the start.
The CEOs heard Viv's pitch and were like "yeah but look at the merch sales" but the ideas were SO bad and poorly put together, they were like "ok little child, we can give you this much budget, do what you can with it?" And she's equally brain dead and like "oh OK!" and just playdoe'd it all together like this.
She has no intention or comprehension of pacing and delivery. She hasn't gone to film school, and just copies what she thinks is acceptable in musical theater.

Charlie really isn't that dumb for not knowing, could she have guessed? Absolutely, but I blame Vaggie for not admitting to it sooner, she seems like the type who'd tell the truth on her own terms rather than have it come up at the worst of times like it did.
I think she's going to feel more betrayed than mad. But not because Vaggie is an angel or an exorcist but because she lied about it.
Also Charlie presumably thought Vaggie was a demon and her overall good nature was proof demons could change. So if Vaggie was never actually a demon then the foundation of her dream to redeem sinners crumbles.
