The horror genre will be genocided, it will transform ever story into "kids thing but creepy". It happened to video games without precedent so when you compare it to film where there's already way too many "horror" movies, series, and plots based off stupid puns, meta jokes, creepypastas and low value indie productions it paints a catastrophic picture for the medium.

The fact that it was a shitty horror movie for kids, there's literally nothing for a fully-formed human brain to grasp on to. Also I didn't like the characters and what they were doing or saying. People online are genuinely saying the nic cage movie is better by the way,

yeah ngl i thought about saying some shit like
"Willy's Wonderland was better tho" to piss everyone off but I didn't, this genuinely beats that shitty fricking movie by a lot.
the characters were way betterly written in the FNAF movie than in willy wankers animacumic factory

I definitely recommend you watch it, because it just seems like you haven't. Might not be your cup of tea though, if you hate FNAF, then I get it, but why are you here.

ngl I went to see it the cinema was filled with zoomers
but for a fricking BLUMHOUSE movie, this was great.
I've seen blumhouses other movies like the invisible man, its all usually pretty shit.
But this film, they got it so fricking right, like Scott Cawthon was just reigning in all the bad shit and leaving only the good shit.
This oughta go on Blumhouse's record for like one of the only good film they've ever made.

The plot isn't really connected to the games, but its similar, like its inspired by the games.

I think it has a decent chance of making its budget back. Realistically its success would be making 75 to 80 mil as it has a budget of 25 mil. I don't see it making any records and I don't m ow how much fnaf hype is still left. Personally I dropped out of the series after two(FNAF 2 was fun but the rest of the games got convoluted, I heard 4 and pizzeria simulator are good). The real question is whether it will be as entertaining as Willy's wonderland or any of the analog Fnaf fan stuff?

  6. 8 months ago

It's going to release simultaneously on peawiener so why the frick would anyone go see a movie like this in theaters.

I also prefer Willy's Wonderland with nic cage I doubt this will compare.

Wider audience appeal and FNAF is marketed to kids

The film was very bloody and gorey, it was rated 15 and upwards to the point where on cinema websites, they "may" ask for ID.

I just got back from seeing it, amazing film, the entire cinema was just screaming and roaring and clapping, saying shit like "HE SAID THE THING" and "OH MY GOD" loads of suspense and people singing, the fcuking credits theme oh my god, we were singing the credits theme.

I watched and I just wanna say why the frick is there so much Mr. Cupcake?, that fricker have more screen time and importance than any of the animatronics, like why have where the damn cupcake kill the most people, I know most people here haven't seen it but jesus, the cupcake is borderline the main character

yeah that was pretty weird, i went in expecting pure FNAF 1 but instead the animatronics were kinda just like chill you know? The story was pretty amazing, I swear literally anything fricking happens, like a niche microcelebrity you may or may have not heard of and the entire cinema is just going "OOOOHH" and "ITS HIM"

For a videogame film it was fricking amazing, they clearly made this for the fans and blumhouse actually made a good fricking film for once holy shit. Do not watch the film alone, go to the fricking cinemas right now, Dawko wasn't lying when he said it was a different vibe, because it was a different fricking vibe. That was an experience to remember.

I wasn't clapping, everyone was fricking clapping and cheering when they saw the references and the plot points being revealed fricking people singing the ending credits theme for fricks sake, the entire room was just pure autism, I swear to god. People came in fricking security guard cosplays, I went from socially anxious to fricking cheering with the crowd so fast, like, this must be why people go to concerts and shit.

Reminder to everyone that these fnaf threads are all full of nostalgia blind children and underage teens, their opinions are completely biased and they have the lowest standards for films and media (being fans of fnaf enough to pay for a ticket is proof of it)
Anyone reading this, you don't need to see the film, it's not worth even checking it out, pirate it or simply don't watch, move on, this site is for people over 18yo, if you're over 18yo you shouldn't have any interest in this, if you do it only shows how immature you are, do not support this film, it is a pathetic cashgrab like all kids movies based on preexisting franchises

Why do kids go crazy for garten of banban? I have a young brother that makes me watch content about the game with him.
With most other kids oriented content I can kinda imagine how a child could like it. But fricking banban seems so low effort that it's almost cynical.

It's definitely low effort, seems like pure gen alpha bullshit, I watch Chazington's videos about it because he hate plays it and yeah thats basically it.
I have better 3D modelling skills than the devs of sharten of banban.
I honestly have no real answer other than it's popular, easy to make, easy to make videos on, has very kid friendly graphics.
It's just, idk, colourful garbage for gen alpha ipad kids.

      >you don't need to see the film
      >pirate it
      >if you're over 18yo you shouldn't have any interest in this,

      FNAF got popular in 2014. 18 - 2005, 19 - 2004, 20 - 2003, 21 - 2002, 22 - 2001, 23 - 2000, etc.
If you liked FNAF during it's peak, you were 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, etc. Now you've grown up. This is something you grew up with.
Kids these days are too used to their shitty poppy playtime bullshit, not FNAF.
I have to admit this is something that young people liked as kids, but still, being youthful doesn't mean they're not allowed to enjoy things.
Come on, anon, I bet there are loads of things from your childhood that you would support today, its a generational thing.
You're just as blinded by 90s and 80s nostalgia as the zoomers are blinded by the 2010s.

If you are over 30, you probably will not see this film. If you are below 18 then you shouldn't be on this website, but if you were born from
Pre October 2005 - 2000, you should definitely see this film.

      >if you do it only shows how immature you are
code for: "i don't like young people invading MY website"
Should just change the rules from "you must be 18" to "you must be born before the year 2000 to use this website"
