I think it's going to be fricking terrible because they tried to mess with Andrea Romano's perfection. The woman is the greatest voice director of all time, she knew what she was doing giving each character their specific VA. Why are they disregarding her work?

Except this is for ADULT Aang...and they aren't even using the VA they got for adult Aang in Korra either, so that excuse is meaningless.
Adult Aang's Korra VA was for when he was 40, the film is going to be set while he was still in his early 20s

Eric Nam's voice and cadence sounds much closer to ATLA Aang than Korra Aang's voice actor did, where it feels like they thought they had to make him feel more "mature" by making him more serious and sterner.

It will be trash but I look forward to the original characters having modern animation. there are places in atla that look jank and low-budget. korra's story was a garbage truck but the animation was gorgeous. i hope they get studio mir again, if they aren't too traumatized from voltron. something about the way those kimchi-chewers draw is just cocaine.

It was animated by another studio, Pierrot, which is ironic because they've produced several famous anime before
Bryke said the film will be 2D/3D hybrid animated film, not completely 2D or 3D. Still not sure what that means but I'm guessing something akin to X-Men 97 where the talking scenes and particle effects are 2D but the action scenes are in 3D (but they're mixed to a point where you can barely tell the difference).

I find it funny how people complained about the first LA Avatar movie pronouncing the characters' names wrong but technically if the characters really are east-asian then their pronunciation there is correct (which I think is what they actually said in interviews and stuff, which is ironic since the rest clearly isn't east-asian anymore with middle-eastern fire nation and stuff)
all this arises because bryke are typical dumbfrick potbellied neckbeard white american gen x morons who think they know everything. everyone hates on boomers but gen x are a hundred times worse. at least boomers are jolly and personable while they're being cringy abrasive morons. gen x are malicious and hateful while they act like morons and nuisances. if every gen x got shot in the face the world would improve overnight. bryke need to be dropped in a rat pit to be slowly gnawed to death piece by piece.
