Do you think Warner Bros will try to make a Duck Dodgers reboot like they did with Animaniacs and Tiny Toons or is it obscure enough to avoid such a fate?

In 10 years maybe. I bet it's been talked about, but all kinds of things need to align internally before it actually comes to fruition. It will be shit.
Never. We had a thread last month about the behind the scenes of Duck Dodgers and it was a disaster. It took 6 years to make the show, went through many iterations and rewrites and it only lasted 2 years. WB lost a ton of money.
The latter. It's not as widely remembered as Animaniacs or Tiny Toons. This makes me wonder what the next non-preschool LT show will be about.
Probably for the best. Childhood is wanting to see something again. Adulthood is understanding they can't ruin it if they don't reuse it.
someone working on it told me last week they're making a porky and daffy show at WBA but its not duck dodgers. i think aaron springer was showrunning it but left due to health issues, i dont know who replaced him
I'll take this with a grain of salt because he really was developing a show at WBA years ago, but there's no news of it. Maybe it has something to do with that one short he made.
yeah this is definitely what that was. aaron left the show at some point before my friend got hired on it, because he was very ill. he didnt mention who the current showrunner is, but im guessing this thing has been redeveloped a lot and gone through dev hell
huh
Maybe I'm naive but I don't think it ever will. It's very well received but it's not Animaniacs or Tiny Toons popular, Daffy and the characters are far more adaptable then doing a rehash and there's a lot more modern ideas then that. And big of all The Looney Tunes Show would be the one primed for a reboot, given its massive popularity online, retaliative popularity when airing and the ease it would be to make that show now compared to 10 years ago.
I'd expect TLTS to get a revival but Duck Dodgers never will
Honestly, I don't think I'd want a Looney Tunes Show revival if they can't get Lola right. She was an actual character capable of being funny in that show and allegedly it's because the show's creator never watched the Space Jam movies.
I think if they are doing a direct revival they have to make her very similar, if not exact, because it would be way too awkward and writers would be unable to do anything with the third main character if they just make her the empowering, un-looney bimbo
>un-loony bimbo
Space Jam 2's Lola was completely sexless and I wouldn't expect any different moving forward.
TLTS Lola was 50% sexless, but for this show we only give a shit if she's funny or Looney
Even SJ1 Lola would fail in it
doesn't need it
DD's humor still holds up while Animaniacs and Tiny Toons are so reliant on reference humor that the reboots are already dated
>avoid such a fate?
I like how we are at a point where we dread the idea
Maybe there's some brighter tomorrow where everyone has their shit together but right now, it's just a bad idea.
They'll certainly continue to try new things with Porky and Daffy. Revisiting the Dodgers universe specifically seems unlikely to me since it wasn't a gigantic hit, and it might be discounted as having "been done already". At the same time, it is a recognizable part of the Looney Tunes canon so we'll probably see the setting again in some form, just not a full TV series.
Marvin's Duck Dodgers design was a skin in Multiversus so WB is at least mildly aware of its existence, but it's doubtful they'd do a full on reboot.
would you really want them too? You know they'd do the queen dirty. The outfit is a given to be changed, and I bet they'd probably just remove all attraction she has towards daffy as well.
