I really wish they did more to show that the Doctor's timeline was becoming fricked up and Clara was only fixing it. Instead of just making her the reason he picks the right TARDIS, they should have shown some new interruption that nearly steered him AWAY from it and Clara coming in just to get him back on track. Do that with every appearance and suddenly the whole thing is a lot less moronic; Clara just patches things up instead of being the original reason for everything.
