>watch it for her
I'm not 10 years old, I don't fricking watch movies or TV shows because some stupid bimbo in them is attractive. Literally touch grass, you fricking loser.
It's not an incel thing. Celebrity is a real thing. Its why certain films get funded. The attached actors are able to draw audiences that want to see them.
but shes not even all that lol. shes a roastie. but shes not bad in that movie. i think it was a good role for her. more fitting than her in mission impossible.

She is. The reason she shines and has a link with Danny is because he's her niece (Jack Torrance had an affair at some point before the first book/film).
Its kinda funny how Steven King ripped off the whole "psychic vampires traveling around in a convoy of motorhomes" thing from an old X-Files episode though.
That makes a lot more sense. Especially since she was from New Hampshire or Vermont

A lot of the hotel stuff felt very memberberries, but I didn't mind it. The unrealistic part is that a giant empty hotel in the middle of the woods with working power and water wouldn't be filled with homeless bums, or at an absolute minimum graffiti, old beercans, and busted windows. Something like that would be a massive draw for urbex people and bored teens looking for a place to party with the case of Nattie Ice they stole during a grab and run at the nearest convenience store.
In the first book the hotel burns down, and in the second one the place where is was is a park where people play frisbee golf and have picnics and shit. The Doctor Sleep movie does its best to kind of reconcile the differences between the shining novel and Kubrick's film, and I think it ends on a good note.
watch it for her
She looks like Taylor Swift's aunt.
Don't watch it for her. Just fap to her scenes. The movie sucks. I was fricking bored to tears and fell asleep.
These
The book was lame and the movie was lamer. King can seethe over Kubrick to his grave but Dr. Sleep was an unworthy sequel to The Shining

What about her makes her a roastie?
Yes
Yeah it's a decent flick
Yes.
It's garbage
you're not ready to admit it but it's better than shining easily
movie is hot garbage.
shine on Black girl
shine on
She's white in the book I think
not only that, she's related to danny which is what prompts him to protect her.
That makes a lot more sense. Especially since she was from New Hampshire or Vermont
It's good if you read/watched the original

>psychic vampires
sounds like Lifeforce
Yes. Watch the directors cut.
Surprisingly pro gun movie at the end.
surprisingly anti israeli too
More watchable that the Shinning that's for sure
I fell asleep 5 minutes in
I expected it to be trash when I first heard of it but it's surprisingly decent
Kino
Le hipster gypsies vampires!
> 4chuds completely missing the subtext
This was to be expected.
Yes, I've seen it a few times, it doesn't get old. Even the shitty dad acting doesn't drag it down.
If only the film were as good as the hat…
the shining and doctor sleep is a perfect double feature
Baseball Boy was some fricked up adrenochrome shit. That scene is really disturbing.
It certainly brings back characters yup, including HER..
Everything until the hotel is pretty good. Honestly, I'm surprised Mike Flanagan was able to pull it off. He's a better director than writer.

yeah, like other anon said watch them both together
It was... Okay. The Shining is a lot more like superhero stuff in this, and it isn't as much of a horror movie, but it's not a bad sequel.
Shockingly good. It's about some really dark stuff as well
If you aren't a fan of Stephen King, it is forgettable and long.
