My only problem with it is the contradiction between transgenderism and the increasing androgyny within society, pushed by the same people. We live in an age now where it's becoming more widely accepted that men and women can act and dress however they want, where gender roles are seen as less important, where career opportunities are not as gendered as they were before. This is a good thing of course, I will always support individual liberty where it doesn't harm anyone else.
My problem with this is, what does it then even mean to "feel like a man" or to "feel like a woman"? Imagine a woman who is lesbian, dates only women, has male friends, has typically male hobbies, a masculine personality, a masculine appearance and works as a car mechanic. Is there anything wrong with being a woman with all these characteristics? Of course not. So what then is the difference between this person, and someone who is identical except that they identify as a man? What does it mean to identify as a man if it has nothing to do with how you look, how you talk, how you act, your place in society and how you live your life?
If a man (in terms of social gender) can be anything from one end of the spectrum to the other, and so can a woman, doesn't that make these distinctions meaningless? What's the point of even recognizing social gender when it has no bearing on anything else and people can identify as one thing despite having all the traits of the other? Why are these distinctions so important to trans people then? The only meaningful classification at that point is to refer to people by their biological sex.

The anticipation I had for this part 1 of 3 specials was so great...
Maybe my expectations were too high. I honestly thought these specials would be a 3 part story arc that somehow resolved the meta-crisis as part of their climax. Having Donna finally able to remember her time with the Doctor, only to have him then regenerate into Ncuti would have been a wonderful bitter-sweet end. But it's been all resolved so fast. I get that we still don't know why the Doctor has an old face on, but I honestly don't care anymore. Donna is no longer critical for anything and there were no cliff hanger clues or foreshadowing for any of what the main story arc actually is. Its just monster of the week adventures 2.0. It looks like it will be 3 stand alone episodes, with some 30sec exposition about his face before he regenerates at the end.
I have no reason to tune in anymore.

Either way, I am happy that certain "People" are angry because I hate them and want them to be miserable. I'm sure they'll claim they don't care, and to a certain extent they probably don't, but as long as it can help create a all encompassing cultural atmosphere that they have no place in human society, I am happy.
