Why are they constantly plugging Captain Carter anyway? Who is really pushing for this to become a thing so much?

      >Captain America Winter Soldier
      >Agent Carter
      >Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
      >What If?
      >Doctor Strange 2
No. I think she likes being in Marvel stuff. What If? is a good litmus test for how much the actors want to play their characters. You could make the same thread for Darcy or Happy Hogan or whichever character got their actor back.
But that Captain Carter comic was definitely an attempt to push her.

Women need their (genderbent) heroes too. It's a classic Marvel staple.

Disney doesn't want a black man as Cap

What If should be just an anthology. Why do we need to see the same characters like Strange Supreme and Cap Carter again?

She should have a child with Steve Rogers and solidify their dinasty.

This seems like a weird kind of backdoor to replace Sam as Cap in the MCU. Instead of black guy they are just going to have a white lady Captain Britain instead and push her to the forefront of all things marvel heroes.

Probably because you just plain cannot sell a black lead character in a movie to China, Japan, South Korea, or the entire Middle East.

Because those countries aren't obsessed with black people like America and Europe are.

Daily reminder that the global social conditioning that the elites keep trying to force is going to survive as long as morons like you exist to perpetuate their lies for them. Nobody is “obsessed” with blacks, genius, because soulless billion-dollar corporations aren’t conscious people. They’re entities, not actual fans.

Certain demographic of white people definitely are. You are deluding yourself if you think it's limited to just a corporate marketing campaign.

Why does it seem like that? She has her own place in the multiversal corner.

Or at least a contingency since when they tried it in the comics it went over as well as a lead balloon, and The Marvels made it clear they're far from bulletproof anymore.

She got too much focus during Season 2 of What If when they could had used like 1-2 of her episodes to focus on another established What If or a new What If.

Marvel should stop trying to make Captain Carter Happen, without giving us more Atwell breasts on the big screen.

The whole What If series annoys me with how it was handled.

    >Hey, here is a new series where we explore every single insane scenario, anything goes, anyone can appear, anything can happen, there is no limits!
    >Proceeds to focus on 5 main characters and makes several episodes about their adventures, give them two season story arcs!

What in the frick. Carter works...for a single episode. Then we never see or hear about her ever again unless it's Hulk Carter or Skrull Carter. no two episodes of What If should ever be linked at all or have shit to do with each other. Much less have a story arc.

Imagine a What If episode where they swapped everyone who got snapped with everyone who didn’t get snapped.

My problem with What If is a lot of them don't really branch from an actual reasonable change that could occur in the MCU and follow up on its consequences, most of it is just "in this universe, this happens to be different just because the writers want this specific circumstance", like as

That whole scene is filmed so bizarrely, its really clear the actors were not on set together.
Carter and Marvel have basically zero reaction to their 2 comrades getting instakilled, even with Carter still trying to act wienery with the stupid "can do this all day" line in a situation where it absolutely does not fit at all
