Imagine the type of person who listened to naked women on the radio in the first place. Howard Stern was always for mouth breathing idiots.

Dropped in 2008 or so. He needs to retire. A lot of his old bits are on YouTube so you can see how funny he used to be

I pulled the ripcord when they started giving that gay Memet daily airtime. Neutering the wrap up show and killing all staff drama was when I started getting fed up.
For the zoomers who’ve never listened 2006-2008ish is really funny shit if you can find it. Failing that look for the big Todd Packer compilations. Eric the Midget one is a good place to start.

Functionallyl moronic boomers probably. But, they're dying off exponentially. So, who knows in a year's time.

I try every now and then but it seems like he's on vacation 51 weeks out of the year and if not it's 24 hours repeats of the 2 hour interview he did with some old band no one wants to hear.

The politically correct, establishment shilling shift is probably one of the funniest pendulum swings in modern entertainment.

It is like Frankie Boyle in the UK.
        >Made his career on dead baby jokes.
        >Now is a socialist superman who thinks jokes cause deaths.
It is always these types of people who kick the ladder out to stop themselves being surpassed.

He must still be big if sirius still gives him those massive contracts, you'd be surprised how many people pay for sirius in the car. He could the wedge for them to hold onto their dying moronic radio platform though.

I loved Howard, but he's truly too far gone. He's been this bad since Artie left, complete narcissist control freak

In Stern's case I don't think the love of money has deserted him, the guy is like a parody of a cheap israelite a /misc/ poster would dream up. This is a guy with a net worth of $650 million who gave his long-term employees tins of popcorn as a Christmas gift.

I'm sure it hasn't, but it's just not enough anymore. People like this want to be thought of as smart and mingle with the important people, not be just thought of as some glorified smut peddler.

I was able to fine the 2006 to 2008 era episodes and it's crazy how far gone the show is from then. I wish I could find the rest of the episodes up to arties' exit.

Peak Stern show was always ragging on Jackie, Gary or assorted interns, and the group riffing on current events and such. Couldn't give less of a frick about naked c**ts riding sex machines or mental defects.

Howard is like every other libtard hypocrite, he made his bones making fun of chris chan tier morons and doing shocking things, but once obama came into power he acted like he was too good to be doing that stuff anymore. meanwhile opie and anthony was in a golden age with all those comedians coming in like louie, patrice, vos, etc

anyways, there is still a market for talk radio, its just that market is young and listens to podcasts instead.

p.s. ron and fez mogged them all

That episode where artie calls the prostitute he offended and pretends to be her israelite agent is the funniest god damn thing I've seen.

most i can do is the youtube clips. none of the new content is that funny though. i dont like any of the new era staffers and the ones that have been there forever are old and stale. i liked the artie years but never really got into the pre2000s stuff outside of watching private parts

Amusingly, his interviewing skills are vastly improved, but he just isn't interesting anymore.
