I admit I have shilled this show before, but only because I really want to know if anyone watched this show, because I never see it ever mentioned ever. People have brought up Rolie Polie Olie to me without me even bringing it up and i've seen Bear in the Big Blue House mentioned, but never this show
Anybody? I'm trying to find if anyone actually remembers this show, because it feels like nobody remembers it while people seem to remember Bear in the Big Blue House and Rolie Polie Olie
where yeah, rollie pollie ollie was animated and bear in the big blue house was puppets. that immediately makes them more memorable to a kid with people just stand around and talking like a classroom
Does anyone remember anything about this show? I sometimes shill it and nobody responds
My grandma used to put this on every morning while I was getting ready for school since my little sis who was a toddler at the time adored it. Doubt she'd remember it if I asked though, being so young at the time. I remember her being really upset when it ended.
OUT OF THE BOX >BUM BUM
OUUUT OF THE BOX
Yeah I watched it as a kid. It was a really dope set to think you could build with some boxes and shit. I remember they made dreidels on the holidays episode.
Watched the shit out of this when I was a kid. Same with Rollie Pollie Ollie.
Pretty sure the black guy in this show was the first black person I've ever seen in real life.
Why do people either not remember this show or only remember the theme song or the goodbye song? Meanwhile, I've seen people remember more stuff about Bear in the Big Blue House and Rolie Polie Olie
This is gonna sound like a joke but Out of the box, OUUUUT of the box YEEEAHHH are the only things i remember because I would shut it off when the black kid showed up.
I unironically refused to watch anything with blacks in it as a kid. I have a racist origin story from when I was 4 seeing little bill for the first time on TV and being shocked and upset. I've typed it out like ten times and always get banned just search the archives frick I hated and STILL hate those chimp fricks
Oh so it wasn't just me kek. Ironically I am black. I just wasn't interested in watching blacks on tv. The ONLY exception was Reading Rainbow. And I think that's because my elementary school teacher would just throw it on on Fridays.

It feels like outside of Bear in the Big Blue House, Rolie Polie Olie, and The Wiggles, people don't really remember the old Playhouse Disney shows or only incredibly vaguely
I watched this show as a kid. I specifically remember the intro video showing them constructing their playroom almost completely out of cardboard boxes. I was convinced that the set they filmed the show in was the same box fort from the intro. Aaah, to be young and naive and be able to be fooled by television again.
i remember the beginning of the theme song and that they had a bunch of boxes in the background. that pissed me off as a kid because i felt like cool box tunnel forts would factor into the show when it was really about "creativity".
i also think about the show "stump makumba" some times. i don't remember anything about it except the name, which is funny and makes me think of a whole show around a black man proving he's smarter than a bunch of little kids
This was Playhouse Disneys lineup of shows when Out of the Box was a brand new show in 1998
101 Dalmatians: The Series
Amazing Animals
Bear in the Big Blue House
Jungle Cubs
Katie & Orbie
The Little Mermaid
Madeline
The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Out of the Box
PB&J Otter
Rolie Polie Olie
Sing Me a Story with Belle
>Sing Me a Story with Belle
My sister used to watch that all the fricking time to the point that I can still remember the theme song. Out of the Box too.
I remember the giant box forts and liking how it encouraged creativity. It was like the arts and crafts show with really great theme songs. It felt very genuine in its approach and presentation.
Also agreed with others in liking this and Bear in the Big Blue House as a kid (which also had a similar feeling, but more relaxing).
I'll probably bump this thread just to see if anyone remembers anything
i remember SO LONG
FAREWELL
TO YOU MY FRIENDS
and that's it
I remember the guy playing drums with his legs
That was Tony who did that
How come people don't remember anything about this show compared to Bear in the Big Blue House where people remember a lot more about it?

The theme song was a banger

It was very diverse
For me it was the Rubberdubbers. (splish splash)
My homie.
(I'm samegayging myself. I'm calling myself my homie. Threads about to die and no one will ever know. ;))
>Arr arr arr, the mighty shark!
>The children are-, the children are-, the children are coming!
>Here come the Rubbadubbers! Splish splash splosh!
I remember it being on and the theme song but nothing beyond that
I remember rolie polie olie a bit more, and bear in the big house a lot more
Either I was very distracted by food when it was on or it was just that forgettable
Anyone?
Yeah I remember it what do you want
Why is it not as remembered as Bear in the Big Blue House or Rolie Polie Olie? I've been shilling this show so that I can find people who remember it
It had lots of fun songs
Vaguely. All I really remember is the theme song.

There aren't actually black people on Cinemaphile, are there? It's just a joke, right?
No you didn't.

All I found was this, b***h
Me and my friends would have bullied this kid so fricking hard

Loved that show.
I still can't believe Luna the Moon and the black chick radio DJ from the Warriors were the same person.
>disneygays
Heh. Nerds. This is NickJr country.
Was this the one where they'd do improv with whatever weird object they'd pull out of the box? I remember it but not very well.
No it was one where they'd do arts and crafts, sing songs, and act out a story
I thoughts the black guy was a woman for the longest time
I liked Vivian the woman
A whole lot of memories just started rushing back holy frick
I loved it
Cool story bro

Omba Mokomba was the name of that show. It aired alongside Going Wild with Jeff Corwin and Muppets Tonight at night on Sundays

Yeah i remember it but i was too old to be watching it at the time so i never sat through an entire episode
KONG
KONG
most of these are so forgotten you can find all the episodes on youtube in full
It's sad that Disney Channel cares so little about something like The Jersey they wont even copyright strike the episodes
Pic related is my childhood. Anybody else watched?
Nah
Of course bro. This and Bear in the big blue house
>1 white person
where's the representation?
i've had a shitty printed out certificate from playing games on the website stuck to my wall for 20 years
>having shit on your walls
walls are for paint Anon
Why are live-action shows for toddlers rarer than live-action cartoons for toddlers?
>Let your guard down in when around anyone who looks like this, kids. Totally safe.
Criminal looking motherfricker
