They look more like a late 1960s, early 1970s era hippie rock band. I'm not sure what they were going for, but the clothes look too groovy and psychedelic to remind one of the Middle Ages, or the very early 1800s, when the Snow White story is said to have originated. They should have just made them look a lot closer to how Hobbits are depicted in The Lord of the Rings series, and called it a day.
