Roe v Wade was a catastrophic mistake for American society. We will continue to feel the consequences of it for decades, even after it has been overturned. American wom*n have been conditioned to believe that they should be able to terminate a pregnancy literally whenever they want and any attempt to curtail it is tantamount to enslavement.

Abortion was a legal right reversed by republicans obsessed with control over women’s bodies. Clarence Thomas wants to take contraceptives away next. Republicans are playing with fire and this will burn them.

        >Abortion was a legal right
Mentioned in no way, shape, or form in the Constitution under the implied privacy right not under the 14th Amendment. Roe was shitty case law and should have been overturned a while ago.

          Anonymous

Overturning Roe doesn’t mandate men take responsibility. No mandates for men to pay for prenatal care, pregnancy/hospital costs, loss of income during maternity leave or early bed rest requirements. There is no mandate for paternity tests nor automatic child support. That’s the thing - women will bear the brunt of this decision in every possible way. Forced poverty for women and children.

            Anonymous

That's irrelevant, Roe was shitty case law. If you're going to say something is a Constitutional right, it's helpful to actually have language in the Constitution that supports it. There's nothing there for abortion, so then you have to move to implies rights, which means moving in part to history & tradition analysis. There wasn't much history or tradition of abortion being a protected right. Fricking legislate the shit, that's what should be done.

Taking away the ability to get an abortion is taking away body autonomy. You can’t take organs from someone who is dead even if it will save multiple lives. That’s because dead bodies have body autonomy. By banning abortion, the choice over what your body goes through is taken away. You’re being forced to go through a medical, body altering, potentially deadly process.

No one is forcing you to get pregnant.

I love how feminists told men "keep it in your pants" when men complain about child support but can't seem to apply that same argument for women. Why can't women just keep their legs closed? Is sex that important for you? If that's the case, then aren't you being a gaslighting b***h when you tell incels that "sex isn't even that big a deal"? So which is it? Is sex a big deal or not?

They're after a far broader rollback of human rights than abortion - Roe is just their trojan horse with their own base because their base is all over that shit. But the ruling itself opens the doors for them to remove other rights the government has "assumed" from the wording of the constitution, and the end-goal is us not having any rights not explicitly written or made law by congress. You know... a congress that is broken and ineffective, and the GOP knows this.
They've destroyed our institution of law-making and have successfully pulled off a judicial coup allowing them to now legislate from the bench instead with no hope of congress ever being able to address these rollbacks.

America is a failed state sliding into authoritarian fascism at light-speed, and the supreme court is the spearhead.

If a woman can get an abortion without limit of access or cost, and a man has no say in the decision, then the choice to bring a fetus to term, and thus need child support, is in no way the responsibility of the man.

Maybe men should finish on the chick's face if they can't commit to raising a child with a prostitute

Abortion is a human sacrifice ritual -- the most powerful known to exist. It was invented by eugenics operatives within the occultic elite to cury Satan's favor while gaining his protection of their warmaking, usury, currency manipulation, and control over the minds of men.

Why is abortion the most powerful form of ritual human sacrifice? Because it entails the most defenseless victims conceivable (the unborn) being murdered by the very persons most duty-bound to love and protect them from harm -- their own mothers, and medical doctors who've sworn oaths to their gods to do no harm.

These ritual murders which society misnames abortions are, furthermore, carried out in a nonchalant and routinized fashion exclusively to facilitate hedonistic apathy, laziness, and convenience; symbolically placing ten seconds of veganal pleasure above the value of a human lifetime's worth of a living, breathing human being's consciousness.

In short, Satan loves abortion because it symbolizes evil within cruelty within evil. It proffers that a few seconds of veganal contractions mean more than human life itself, and it does this using the greatest symbols of love and compassion (mothers and doctors), satanically inverted into spiritually numbed, unfeeling executioners.

So the next time you see a western woman screeching about her abortion rights on the steps of some state capitol, look into her empty eyes and know that you're seeing more than a simple murderer. Look into her eyes and know that you're seeing a demon, the very definition of evil. And know that the steady stream of death she inflicts on the unborn is what powers the elite's satanic karma.

If these women are "demons" incapable of love, what will happen to the children they give birth to?
They are more likely to end up growing in broken homes, probably under a single mother or end up at an orphanage, which essentially means they are more likely to become criminals or, worse even, leftists.

Answer me this then, aren't most people who get abortions in America either politically left leaning or a certain impoverished minority, further burdening welfare system with dead weight?
Do you believe a ban on abortion will make more women traditional?

The child will exorcise the demon out of the woman and turn her into a mother.

Christianity teaches that everybody can be saved and forgiven, if they choose to do so.

Blessed post. I always felt something was wrong about abortions; they are the very same sacrifices that tribes used to do before Christianity saved them. Without Christianity these modern tribals have regressed to their vile nature.

        Human nature never changes.

Women are easier influenced by group pressure and social conformity because they are generally more bodily weak (dont mean that as an insult)/need the protection of society/majority more and therefore have more to lose to go against a perceived majority society narrative. But that is slowly changing as well... its just a carry over from the long past and survival in the harsh past.

No, that abortion isn't a constitutional right. So states or the federal government could restrict it. Or freely allow it. Jesus Christ I know you read a bunch of Politico articles or some shit, but some of us actually went to school for this and know what we're talking about.

nearly every single late term abortion (with the rare exception of abuse and trauma) was a wanted pregnancy. They wanted the child, but are facing the most devastating diagnoses that an expecting family can hear. Babies that won’t survive outside the womb and could kill the mother. Babies who might live for a minute or two in extreme agony before everything in their bodies fails at once. It’s not something someone does for shits and giggles. And now we’re adding barriers in traumatic situations that need immediate attention. Frick anyone who thinks they know better and that one answer is correct for

It’ll be illegal to have an abortion in about 50 percent of states in a week. Including if you were raped. This is a dark day.

Edit: as of now, it is illegal in Kentucky, Louisiana , and South Dakota

Edit 2: now illegal in Missouri

Edit 3: not all trigger laws go into effect this second. Some will take a week or a month.

    Edit 4: https://www.npr.org/2022/05/03/1096094942/roe-wade-overturned-what-happens-next?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=politics&utm_medium=social&utm_term=nprnews

Edit 5: some states that have a trigger are waiting for the AG or other state actor to certify the laws. Hints why not all trigger laws went into effect immediately

    Edit 6:

Abortions are illegal today: Kentucky , Louisiana , Missouri Oklahoma and South Dakota.

Bans that will absolutely come in the next days and weeks as a result of trigger laws are: Idaho , Mississippi , North Dakota, Tennessee , Texas, Utah, Wyoming

Weeks or months: Alabama , West Virginia , Arizona , Florida, Georgia , Ohio, South Carolina.

States with no incest or rape exceptions: Kentucky ,Louisiana , Missouri, South Dakota, Tennessee,
