He doesn't even understand mornings. The whole day runs together for him. His head is empty and he just stumbles around tripping over 50ft cables and tripods in his cuck shed. That's why April sets a loud alarm for 5:40, so he knows when to come running. Otherwise he just fumbles around all day and then has no idea where the time went.

He mentioned one on MeTV but that was more a nostalgic thing instead of a serious one. All the main cable shows that had Saturday Morning Cartoons are done with it because of that FCC restriction and there are dedicated channels to watch cartoons any time you want.

      I unironically believe this.

James seems like a stupid person. I’m not saying this to be mean, I don’t think he’s like mentally impaired or something, but the way he talks, from the slow pace and mispronunciation of simple words, makes him come across as dim witted.

Also, he’s supposedly obsessed with movies, but despite being middle aged he hasn’t matured in taste past the age of like 16. I get if you primarily like lighter tones stuff, but he’s said shit that’s embarrassing.

He went to special ed, he has some form of moronation.

Does there come a natural point where you just stop giving a frick about 99% of media if you are a healthy, mature person? Because I'm pretty much at that point. I don't understand the reason behind endlessly jerking off about some low budget shit you watched 40 years ago that was created to sell you plastic toys and advertisements when you had an undeveloped brain.

Yes. Im at there now. 39 years young. Cinemaphile, books, chess, music and some old movies are it for me. Im happy.

You stop giving a frick about what everyone’s telling you to watch and focus only on what you’re likely to enjoy. This is because you realize you’ll never have enough time to enjoy all the media there is, so you only focus on what caters to your tastes. Sure, maybe these cartoons are a fun watch but there’s a reason I left them in my childhood

      Anonymous

I think its because you take on more responsibility or have less time, so time becomes much more valuable. If you can watch a movie you may like versus a movie you love, you'll probably go with the movie you love.
My days are already full of stuff. I keep attention to a few select things I like. Sometimes I'll try new things, but they almost always take lower priority. I just rewatch movies and tv shows I like from the past. Very rare I'll watch something new.

80's nostalgia homosexuals and their fricking GI Joe Transformers Voltron Thundercats He-Man shit would not shut the frick up about their garbage toy commercials for most of the 2000's. I don't understand people who get hung up on nostalgia and just reminisce about a handful of shows or movies they enjoyed when they were younger and never wanna watch anything new or different. By now there is over a 100 years of film and television content to choose from and there is bound to be something else out there you will really like if you give it a chance.

There's kids shows that are worth taking a deeper look at, but it's ones where the showrunners had some kind of vision behind them. But most children's shows from the 80s don't have that. They were made for one reason and one reason only and that was to sell toys. Extensively talking about them or getting seriously invested in them just isn't worth it.

Yeah his Monster Madness stuff made for good background noise while I was working on something. James is unironically a short bus moron, I don't even mean that as a joke. He's legitimately autistic and was put in special ed as a kid. When I found that out it immediately made sense and I don't even get mad at Bimmy anymore. As much as people hated Mike and thought he was ruining Cinemassacre, we've since come to find out he was actually holding it together. Shit, a lot of the best jokes from the classic episodes were written by Mike himself. Now just look at the state of the channel when James is left to himself. Remember when we thought Mineycrafta and Elmo in Grouchland were the worst of Cinemassacre? We had no idea.

I'm just glad the slobs are off cam and stick to behind the scenes now at least.

James basically thinks his knowledge on cinema is legendary because he knows about the original Thing. He thinks he's the only person in the fricking world who knows it exists so feels like bringing it up endlessly as if it's showcasing his horror movie knowledge penis. The fact of the matter is no one talks about the original because it's a laughably bad B movie. His video was absolute shit, the arguments he was making really help expose his laughably low IQ. The Carpenter remake is just a gore fest and nothing else! Nevermind the memorable characters, mystery of keeping track of their alibis to determine who could've become the thing, the paranoia and atmosphere. Then the original thing has atrocious characters, you're just waiting for the next jumpscare where a man in a rubber suit jumps out to say ooga booga. His whole video is literally "it's good because it's old and obscure (it's not obscure)". James Rolfe? More like Cringe Rolfe.

It's a shame everyone would shit on Mike and ridicule him as someone trying to "ride Rolfe's coattails" back during the glory days of AVGN but it turns out he did just as much work, if not MORE than James did. Yet James would never give him any credit, even when Mike wrote or edited the episode the credits would always read "Directed, written and edited by James Rolfe". Rolfe is such a sleazy hack, wants all the credit, wants the image of being this hard working "film maker" even when he isn't responsible for even half of the project. Remember this video?

Understandably, I think Mike was frustrated due to the lack of credit so asked James if they could do a video like this at times in this video you can see James getting uncomfortable, seems like he's trying to hide his anger because some of the truth is starting to come out about how much work Mike actually did.

I had to bail on the channel a few years ago because it was shit and they were all moronic. Watched before youtube in the early teen episodes of AVGN. Some of the stuff on James and Mike Mondays was unbearable. There would be shit like flashing text on the screen for five minutes saying "PRESS A" and they would just run in circles complaining. Every once in a while I'll look at these threads and it always gets worse. Mike leaves, all the fats, and now Ryan is some kind of trans fricking lol.

Mike is honestly too based for all this moronic bullshit. Without Mike's input the whole AVGN thing is unwatchable.

Hilarious that if he made this exact same video in 2010, people would be jerking him off blind and half the posts would be cringe Blockbuster tier nostalgia posts.
