The Boys was never supposed to be more realistic. If anything it is supposed to be more over the top than what it is parodying.

The parody element is imagining superheroes in a more realistic way, with all the power abuse, drugs, fame, douchbaggery, and corporate meddling that comes with it instead of the goodie-two-shoes superheroes.

There is nothing more realistic about the show outside of the character reactions to capeshit shit. Which also became too over the top stupid by season 2 so if you are watching this show for realism...well, I don't know what to tell you, you've been called a moron like twice already; I'll just point the obvious and say your "unbelievable meter" is very odd.

It was never that. The first scene is a guy running through someone else and turning them into a comical cloud of blood. There is nothing realistic at all about The Boys. It's just a more irreverent superhero story.

What about the Supe that can turn to ice? The world's never been realistic.

V has always been magic mumbo jumbo just like everyother superhero universe, the only thing that's more "realistic" it's the personality of the Supes and how they would be monetized.

For more that I hate socialists and communists it seems like one of the central themes of the story is anticapitalistic, it shows how money and capitalism supposedly corrupts everything, and the show will probably end with both Homelander and Butcher dying while Vought survives by rebranding, showing again that corporations or "the house" always wins.
Again, the only realism of the story is the society they live in, how superheroes would act, and how people would react to people with superpowers, the powers itself never were realistic in any way.

the fact he can only teleport biological shit (himself and others) and not peoples clothes makes it a bit more mad science little less straight up magic.
But ultimately its useless trying to apply too much logic to a show where a vial of green goo will make a man shoot lasers out his wiener.

ah yes, a guy that can fly, effortlessly lift a car and punch through human beings, have super senses as well as shooting lasers with his eyes is so much more realistic

Would leather come with Wee Hughie when he teleports, since it's also just skin? Will he start wearing all leather in Season 4?

he can teleport hair clearly, doesnt go bald when he warps. so wool or furs should work too.

There's a guy who flies and shoots lasers, a guy with a mister fantastic wiener, a guy who shrank down to go into someone's peehole but the teleportation was where you drew the line?
