dr strange expert magician refuses to elaborate the rule of how saying any words can create an issue with spell, it's his fault. Where Peter knows nothing

Dr. Strange just started casting a "change the entire universe spell" without confirming any details on what he was doing or how significant it would be.

To be fair to Strange he just assumed Peter didn't have any troubles telling his people that he was Spider-Man since he and almost everyone else in the MCU never have any issues talking about their superhero identity.

Face it, there’s no winning for spidergays. Everything spider-man related has been shit for years, even the tiny bit of hope Spencer gave us was crushed by Lowe and Cebulski.

MCU Spider-Man has always been in an interesting spot compared to the other movies because he's the only version of the character in film that actually exists within a wider Marvel setting filled with various other superheroes. In a sense, he really feels like a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man because he mainly occupies a small corner of NYC unlike the other films where Spidey is the only superhero and he's treated more like Superman.

Since a bunch of supers already exist in the MCU, it makes sense that Peter would look up to them and be enthuised about potentially joining the Avengers since he's usually small time. That's like the angle the MCU Spider-Man movies take to diffrentiate them from the previous Raimi and Webb series, Peter actually interacting with various other heroes.

wow im shocked that a teenaged superhero thrust into a universe of already established superheroes looks up to and idolizes them and a majority of his initial character development involves his interactions with them. thats totally not the exact obvious expected direction for such a character to go in. they should have just did what the other two previous spider-man film franchises did

That was exactly a situation in 616, yet he didn’t become FF sidekick. Please stop lying to yourselves trying to prop up one character assassination against another.

remember when he destroyed liz's life and then totally forgot about her because new pussy came along

if this was a real spider-man story liz would have had a grudge and there would have been consequences

      >remember when he destroyed liz's life
Pretty sure Vulture destroyed his own life by selling alien weapons to people; also almost killed himself. Liz also put a hitpiece about Peter on a magazine once his identity was revealed.

It's outrageous his entire trilogy depends entirely on you being up to date with rest of the MCU slop. It's fricking SPIDER-MAN.

      What a weird criticism
What exactly from the MCU slop did you need to know to understand what was going on in No Way Home?

Spider-Man's origin doesn't take place in his own comics. He got his symbiote suit in a crossover comic. That's just how the character works.

        >MCU shit involves MCU shit
        You don't say?

There's a difference between "in this Spidey trilogy he lives in a world where other Marvel heroes exists" vs "these movies are just episodes of an overglorified TV show"

          You're just moronic
The narrative is fine and his arc as Spider-man is pretty much limited to his movies

For NWH obviously you need Far From Home and know who Strange is, but for FFH you need to see Infinity War and Endgame, and you can continue spiraling all the way back to Iron-Man 1. Spider-Man should be allowee to stand on his own without the need to watch shit like Civil War.
