I'm pretty sure the real villain was Delling. He massacred everyone at Ochs and Vanadis when the council just wanted to seize their assets and shut down the business. And then he implemented war partitioning and turned the Earth into a battleground for corporate interests, which he also controls as the absolute leader of the Benerit Group.
They turned Delling into a joke that gets outsmarted by Prospera and bossed around by his daughter. The prologue paints him as ruthless and then he allows everything to go down and falls asleep until the plot needed him again to help with QZ.

That's the reverse moron, McGillis restarted AV research using Ein as a guinea pig so that he could safely get the AV implant as an adult, and the Type E is a direct evolution of that research. oh yeah I’m aware that for a mecha show there’s barely any mecha action. I wish Eri and Suletta had a drag out fight and what we got wasn’t really anything. Even Guel fighting his brother in the Scharzwette seemed more like filler than anything else.
Ericht fighting suletta was itself filler anyways since it just resulted in half of the team getting captured, Eri and Suletta returning to QZ as soon as they left it and QZ getting reactivated. The only purpose it had was giving Eri a fakeout death even though she got ANOTHER fakeout death as the gundams disintegrated.
