    Mike's approach is the best if you are not on roids. If you are on gear of course you can lift every day since your muscles recover so fast, but if you are natty you need to let your muscles rest

        I started incorporating some of his methods in philosophy and methods and it's worked out really well for me. I don't go as extreme as he got with one exercise one day a week or whatever, but upping your intensity and using drop sets are probably better for a lot people.

            This. I've been Lifting for a long time, and it was still hard to get used to going to Absolute failure consistently. It looks ugly and you make weird noises and it's hard to keep yourself in that mindset.
