Mikkelsen is allegedly the top choice, and might even have been offered the role already. Fiennes and Clarke are backup choices. Hartnett was the top choice back when Adam Driver and Jake Gyllenhaal were eyed for Reed Richards. Now that Pedro Pascal has been cast, Marvel is looking for actors closer to Pascal's age for Doom.

modern Doom is overrated and sucks, he worked better as a exaggerated supervillain who used his powers and intelligence to spite one guy who said he was wrong, not as this secretly benevolent figure who is just feared by the other Marvel heroes because of his presence power and intelligence
Anon you're describing Doom since the 80s as "modern Doom"
Are any of these guys comfortable with never having their faces shown? That should be item number one on the list.
Are any of these actors willing to be in a mask for 90% of the movie or do they sniff their own farts like all the other actors in Hollywood?
Who cares? If they have a 50 year old dude with a Chilean accent playing Reed I’m not watching this shit, let alone some chick who looks 45 playing Susan.
This tbh
Pedro is such a wrong casting for Reed that it would turn me off the film entirely if they're actually going with him
>chick who looks 45 playing Susan
>upset that an older women playing literally the "mom" character in Marvel's first family
Are you an outrage tourist?
Anon Johnny and Susan have always been late 20s to early 30s when they go into space. Susan is the “mom” in that she’s the emotional center and glue of the men around her. She’s not the mom in terms of age.
Have you NEVER read a fantastic four comic? You legit sound like a writers room wienersucker surprised that the character sheet you read wrong has mislead you.
>Johnny and Susan have always been late 20s to early 30s when they go into space.
And? The movie won't be an origin story, Reed and Sue might even have Franklin already.
That would be absolutely moronic if so. Skipping the origin destroys any chance of people caring about character like Ben. The FF need to be shown as humans flying too close to the sun so that Ben always regrets it, Reed always resents his own arrogance getting them into this mess, Johnny feeling emboldened after living in his sisters shadow and Susan having been right about them not rushing into space giving her the “told you so” high ground to keep everyone in check.
Wasn't Mads already in Dr. Strange?
Wouldn't be the first time the MCU recycled actors. Happens more often than you think
Outside of the black dude who said “who” in guardians I can’t think of another. And no, Chris Evans doesn’t count because FF a wasn’t the MCU.
You managed to single out a guy who never double-dipped in the MCU while missing out the biggest three, though there a dozen more examples.
>literally who?
>she had prosthetics and was painted blue
>not MCU cannon
This is a dumb argument. Gemma Chan is the only one with a similar situation because Doom would be covered by his armor through most of his appearances (hopefully), it's still a dumb argument
Who are these people?
Alfre Woodard, who played Miriam Sharpe in 'Captain America: Civil War' and Black Mariah in 'Luke Cage'.
Gemma Chan, who played Minn-Erva in 'Captain Marvel' and Sersi in 'Eternals'.
Mahershala Ali, who played Cottonmouth in 'Luke Cage' and will now play Blade.
There's also Michelle Yeoh, who played Aleta in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' and Shang-Chi's aunt in 'Shang-Chi.'
Would anyone really give a shit if they reused Mads for Doom?
Suspiciously safe choices, aside from Jason Clarke.
>MCU FF is just going to use Doctor Doom like every other FF movie did
Use some of the other FF villains you idiots, stop making the same movie.
Galactus and Nova are the main villain, Doom is just a cameo.
>"Riiiicharrds!"
