it is, but this is mid-to-late-90s fantasy. I saw it when it came out. Surprisingly the cgi for the dragon still holds up, or it did when I saw it again a few years ago.
>I served the father only for the sake of the son. All my hopes rest on him. Forgive a doubting fool. Call when you needeth me, ask what you will of me. My sword, my service, are yours.
The main villain of this was so disgusting and vile, as a little kid I was absolutely sceezed by that guy I thought he was gonna come through the screen and rape me. watching it as an adult he’s kino
The guy who wrote the movie was originally meant to direct it, but Rob Cohen took over because the studio felt he was more reliable. And the writer thought Cohen was a moron. >Critical elements were missing, things were replaced, and there was all this silly stuff. Like this village that's surrounded by 10 million pigs, but all the people are starving, and yelling out, "We're starving! We need meat! Let's kill the dragon", but they're surrounded by pigs! So, I'm trying to find the logic here. I just didn't get that.
What bugs me about the movie is that the prince is so obviously an evil bastard yet everyone is surprised when he "becomes" an evil bastard.
It makes the dragon look like a fricking moron.
>like a pudding
What did he mean by this?
>the girl was diz from starship troopers
No wonder my bones sky-rocketed when she showed up
80s fantasy is best fantasy.

I firmly believe that George Lucas took inspiration from this film when creating the conflict between Anakin and Obi-Wan.
>To the Stars, Bowen. To the stars.
One of the greatest film endings ever created. And 80%+ of what sells it is the INCREDIBLE music. Holy frick, that music.
I cry every time
Same.

It's a case of people desperately wanting to see the good in an evil little shit.
For me it's...
Wait, this is Reign of Fire.
Isn't*
I remember watching this as a child and being enthralled by the accent. I had a Scottish accent for about a week afterwards.
Bit fricked up how his mum dies.
>Jason Isaacs
>David Thewlis
>Pete Postlethwait
This film may have overdosed on the kino enhancers.
I thought this and Excaliber and Merlin were all the same movie as a kid. We kept recordimg over vhs tapes so I never finished
dragons should always be able to talk
>main love interest is damaged goods
>kino
no
Look into the life of the writer.
What about him?
