You homosexuals told me they where doing better than Disney...
>“DreamWorks Animation reduced its workforce by approximately 70 positions. Roles affected were across corporate functions, feature, television and technology departments as part of an overall cost-reduction,” a spokesperson for DreamWorks told Variety.
>As a part of cost-cutting measures, DreamWorks is shifting away from producing films fully in-house and will rely more on third party studios, Cartoon Brew reported.

How much of this is Ruby Gillman's fault?
>SaberSpark praises Nimona while mocks Disney's flops of Lightyear and Strange World againts Puss In Boots and Spiderverse

>Elemental makes a comeback at the box office
>Wish becomes WDAS most watched trailer since Frozen II
I don't believe in karma but damn
Company wars are stupid
I genuinely love plenty of DreamWorks' films and The Last Wish really did exceed my expectations but anyone who bought into the "DreamWorks Renaissance! Frick Disney!" hype train is a moron
Indeed. And speaking of which I don't believe in the Disney Revival era nonsense either. A lot of those movies have the same shitty cliches that this board is complaining about for the recent movies go figure.
Disney Revival is a hoax and movies like Tangled, yes I went there, are shit. Only queers liked that boring trash movie. And don't get me started on Zootopia with the whole diversity agenda.
As for Dreamworks, the last movie this board hyped up for them was Bad Guys and I thought it sucked. It was ugly and I hated everything about it, the idea of criminals being given a chance they don't deserve to be part of society bothers me. I just didn't like the premise.
I legit thought Ruby Gillman was based on some graphic novel.

based. Disney hadn't been good since ratatouille or wall-e
>Elemental makes a comeback at the box office
Stop gaslighting. Elemental made less that Toy Story 2, a film released 20 years ago.
To be fair, a lot of the reactions from the Wish trailer were
>the animation looks unfinished
>the villain is actually right
Also they admitted it could have been 2D but killed the idea, so it’s not all positive with Wish.
30%
It was all her fault
ALL YOU NEEDED TO DO WAS TO NOT VALIDATE THE RACIST GRANDMA (and also fix the human designs)
I haven't seen the film yet but i have to guess that part of the film on Ruby Gillman is pic related for Dreamworksbros
It's worse
It's much, MUCH worse
Namaari is at least hot alongside her mom while that movie's message is a masterpiece compared with Ruby Gillman overall message
Nah, at least Ruby Gilman ends with the villain imprisoned while Raya forgives everyone. Your obsession is clouding your vision, you’ll never see an hour long analysis of Ruby Gilman’s flaws like Raya got online.
rip
The best version of the DreamWorks Logo is when a raptor rips the boy off the moon
Dreamworks has always been hit and miss. They made Shrek but they also made trash like Bee Movie and even their successes like Boss Baby? Those are abysmal. Just because Dreamworks has a few decent films like Puss Last Wish or the first How To Train Your Dragon doesn't mean much.
They aren't dying but I don't see them ever becoming truly good. While Disney has their Old Glory from a bygone era, Dreamworks only has a few choice select movies that are legit decent. And if Dreamworks continues being a miss they will become another illumination and that's no compliment.
Lel they already are Illumination-tier. The only 2 great films they've made is Antz and Shrek 1. Everything else is mediocre or meme.
>this moron is saying Prince of Egypt was bad
They do have other slightly nice movies to watch like Prince of Egypt (though I understand if not everyone likes that movie especially with what's going on with israelites right now in Israel). But yes overall Dreamworks is kind of meh. To me it seems like Dreamwork's only claimed fame by mocking the sincerity of movies Disney made back in the day like Lilo and Stitch. Dreamworks had movies that mocked, ridiculed, and parodied that old values Disney used to have (it wasn't until How To Train Your Dragon that Dreamworks made a movie that had genuine heart).
You're just baiting
Hope that Puss doesn't get affected that much by this
Why do some people pretend to like this misfire?
I like the fight scene at the end with the peawiener villain guy.
It's better than the first one.
man ruby gillman did THAT much damage
So the moronic writers not only sunk Ruby Gillman who could've been the next HTTYD, but the entire animation departament of Dreamworks?
>entire
Don't be hyperbolic
It was gonna be struck either way given Comcast is Comcast
>We are living long enough to see our childhood animated content such as CN and DreamWorks crater hard.

It turns out, people like me ( that is, most people) aren't just tired of Disney's crap, but all of these safe, bland, generic, paint-by-numbers CG garbage films in general. Who knew?
n
Which studio is next to be on top if Disney/Pixar and Dreamworks fail?
Hazbin hotel/gay cartoon studio
Its what was coming to them when they make trash no one wants like trolls or boss baby sequels after their 1st sequels bombed, croods 2, riding free or ruby gilman instead of shit people are begging for like more over the hedge or Madagascar
