It's boring.
It's not as good as the original show or comics, and the changes made are only detrimental. Also add a bunch of member berries and "remember the Disney afternoon?". It's not bad, but it's not good either, a solid okay.
It's poorly animated, badly acted, ugly, annoyingly smug, and focuses more on slice of life crap than adventures and daring-do. It's the complete opposite of the original DuckTales. As a big fan of the original comics, and to a lesser extent the original series, this show was engineered to make me angry.
I just found it insufferably glib, like the worst parts of Gravity Falls. I saw an episode in a pyramid and they just had to bury it under five layers of irony rather than have a straight up pyramid adventure. For something where the staff claimed to be really familiar with the source material they were incapable of making something that actually celebrated high adventure, and the old Barks comics are the most unironic straight forward adventure yarns you can imagine.
Is it? I couldn't imagine a worse DuckTales reboot if I tried. If you told me in 2012 there would be a DuckTales reboot in a few years, my cynical brain would have imagined pretty much exactly what we got. Ugly, bland, no-effort garbage.
>finally decide to start watching Disney XD after a few years >"oh they rebooted Ducktales? nice" >5 episodes in a row are coming on so I decide to watch
>Webby episode >Webby and Dewey episode >Webby episode >Webby and Lena episode >Webby episode >end up catching an episode that wasn't centered around Webby but not one with the triplets just by themselves
It's like they're quadruplets and she's the fourth and leader of the group. They should have just made a show about Webby if they were so obsessed with her.
Because Legend of the Three Caballeros leaked around the same time and was confirmed Ducktales got it cancelled before it aired a single episode and led it to get no promotion
There was a lot of hate between both fandoms and you had to be around in 2018-2019 to understand the extent. And it wasn’t like the Frog/Owl meme rivalry but actual hatred
Why do you care? Cinemaphile's favorite shows have included Flapjack and gayventure Assburgertime. Their favorite comics have included furry shit like Lackadaisy. They promoted anime fricking shit like Avatar and loved the shitty sequel with girlboss lesbo b***h protagonist. Cinemaphile has the worst taste possible.
The show had the problem where it both wanted to revel in nostalgia but seemed to genuinely loath it at the same time and kept trying to fix things and characters that didn't need to be fixing. >Nooo Ms Beakly can't be a kindly housekeeper she has to be a no nonsense super badass secret agent
>resurrect 20+ year old IP with the objective of getting money out of old fans that are now adults with disposable income >defeat the purpose by changing the IP in ways that displease those old fans
They make the same mistake every single time.
It's shit
political reasons like always
Its humour is too meta for us

Autism.
Leaving other anons' shit taste aside, I loved it, easily the best cartoon Disney has made in decades, even better than Gravity Falls.
>easily the best cartoon Disney has made in decades, even better than Gravity Falls.
Not the compliment you think it is.
>Not the compliment you think it is.
>Autism.
Autistic people love this show though.
>the best cartoon Disney has made in decades
That's not TRON Uprising.
>easily the best cartoon Disney has made in decades
It doesn't even touch the Rudish Mickey shorts
I liked the first season
Is it worth watching the rest?

boring and bland
Cute characters aren't a negative, didn't need girl boss Webby

Better than a DuckTales reboot should've been, still boring. It didn't deserve to die. I would've kept watching this boring shit.

It's not the worst cartoon ever made. But it is my least favorite cartoon ever made.

Third season fell off

It ruins the vision of Carl Brks and Don Rose
Nice image for ants, homosexual
Never seen it outside of clips but why the frick does Donald have a normal voice?
I just thought it was boring. Not funny and the adventures/drama were not compelling. Sad because I was really excited before it came out
The show had the problem where it both wanted to revel in nostalgia but seemed to genuinely loath it at the same time and kept trying to fix things and characters that didn't need to be fixing.

DuckTales is high mid at best for Disney's output this last decade
It's probably their best show of the past decade. It's still a rancid pile of upchuck however.
Amphibia was better. Especially if you compare series finales.
Not Wander, Cabs, Mickey?
s1 is good
s2 is ok
s3 is shit save for like three episodes
overall okay if you watch it to kill time
>Larry, I'm on DuckTales
Based Abed
Would have been better if it was about random originally created duckburg people (with plenty of cameos).
I will always say the single biggest waste is not letting Donald be Duck Avenger then him teaming up with Drake
Toothpaste
Super
Saiyan
Duck
